Evanescence are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Fallen with a series of special reissues via Craft Recordings.

Available on Deluxe 2-LP, 2-CD, and Digital - as well as a Super Deluxe Edition collector’s box set - Fallen (20th Anniversary Edition) offers newly remastered audio, including the album’s singles “My Immortal,” “Going Under,” “Everybody’s Fool,” and “Bring Me To Life.” The expanded set also includes a trove of bonus material - ten tracks in all - comprising previously-unreleased demos and live recordings plus a selection of rare B-sides. Alongside reimagined artwork, all physical formats will include previously-unseen photos from the era, plus a handwritten foreword by Amy Lee, who oversaw all aspects of the reissue. The Deluxe vinyl, CD and digital configurations are out now.
Available exclusively at Evanescence.com is the Super Deluxe Box Set, arriving February, 2024. Housed in a collectible shadow box-style package (inspired by Amy’s songwriting journal cover art), this limited edition includes all of the above-mentioned music as part of a 2-LP set (featuring a Black & Silver blend vinyl) plus a bonus cassette of previously unreleased demos and voice notes which is exclusive to this box set. Adding additional insight into the album is an expansive book which features new track-by-track notes from Lee, while a zoetropic turntable slipmat, rare photo prints, and enamel pin set round out the collection.

The first time I heard Evanescence was on the radio when I was 11 years old. I still remember where I was lol. I was camping and there was an older couple (50s?) camping near us and they were just playing music on the radio. When this came on the lady turned the radio all the way up and rocked out. It was awesome ❤

Reading these lyrics, I now realize just how much Evanescence has influenced and inspired me subconsciously with my writing in one story that's been changing and evolving for years now and I am finally writing in hopes of getting it published in the next few years. This song basically sums my MC up, Angel Oakenson. I know in one scene in the story, when her lover asks "what are you doing?" as she starts towards another Divine (god), her answer is "what I do best, die". It's always been what she does when push comes to shove is she does something crazy, dies and comes back somehow. She later learns she's not just immortal (someone/thing that has the ability to live forever but is capable of dying), she's an Eternal. Eternals are usually only Divines, no other being can be one and they are rare even among them. (Eternals live forever and can never die, no matter what, a thing which causes them to eventually go mad).

@Abcity true that. Mariah honestly is just another(overrated) singer who can reach high pitch notes but overall she sounds like many other good singers. Nothing special in her sound either. Also don't like her spoiled bitch attitude. The way Amy voice sounds is 'rare' (at least for my ears) and hard to describe.

So i just jammed thos whole album out and introduced it to my daughter ...who is 4. She likes it....but thinks Amy lee is kinda "skooky" ....but she was singing along under her little breath... It just brings so many emotions.....back to early 2000s...going into my 20s. Learning who my friends werent. Learning myself and what i didnt stand for....what i wouldnt stand for.....it was an emotional and lonely time. A lot of crying ...and drinking. ...and crying. Whatever...now im bore and old. Ha.
