Your review of this got me to buy my first micro-brand automatic! An amazing gift from my wife on my birthday! It's really more teal in real life than the "peacock" blue which is gorgeous. The rice textured band is super comfortable and looks real classy in that retro way. Like you mentioned, the friction clasp is not the best, as it doesn't really have a clicking noise when it's fastened--however it does make the band a lot more streamlined and contributes to that retro look. The convex crystal is real neat, when I tip the watch it makes for interesting distortions of the dial. I also bought Auscar's Maru, I'm afraid if I keep watching your reviews I'll keep buying more watches! :)

I’m really glad you’ve covered this, as I have always been very curious about Evant watches when I see them on Gnomon. This model isn’t my cup of tea, but I would definitely be interested in some of their others. Glad to know that, aside from the clasp, they’re really solid.

Your review is very detailed as always, thank you. Watch, in my opinion, is priced about 30% too high and no drilled lugs is a poor decision. I'm my opinion, a Miyota 9 series movement would have been a smarter choice. Too bad as the watch looks very nice

Looks great but that clasp is a negative for sure!

So mine failed over a month ago and I couldn't wind the watch with the crown anymore: it has the spinning rotor syndrome! So I had to spend over $50 CAD to ship the watch back to Singapore as they don't pay for shipping, then they said warranty repairs usually take 4-6 weeks!! I'm really disappointed as I thought this was a micro-brand where I could get superior service and support. Instead of dealing directly with Evant, I'm forced to deal with Gnomon Watches, which seems like another big apathetic watch company.

I do like vsrious skin divers, even though I lnow to stay away from divers generally. But even after your video I'm not feeling this. Somehow the large markers and hands give me a sense of overdecoration. The fume effect is good, but not the nest colour. The branding also doesn't communicate quality to me and the BOR comes across as just fine. So in the end, it feels like s watch with an inflated price because of its swiss movement. I'm not sure the rest belongs there.
