Күн бұрынSo, with Chapter 2 of the Invasion saga on the horizon, launching with tomorrow's patch, it comes time to take a look at the burgeoning fifth race on the playing field alongside the four empires - The Triglavian Collective!
Sadly, I'm not NEARLY as well educated with Triglavian lore, as it's currently being told through an ARG and in-game hints. In order to make sure this was a conversation and not a simple one way lecture, I decided to invite another lore export onto the stream in order to discuss the topic further, Uriel Anteovnuecci

Triglav (3 heads) is actually a mountain in Slovenia, being a Croatian i recognize a lot of words. So in my opinion the Triglavians originate from what today is Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia

Cool video. Also I had the auto-subtitles on and that came up with all kinds of hilarious ways write the names or lore faction. At one point it wrote "trig lesbians" instead of Triglavians. :D

Small note on the Triglavian name - in Bulgarian this would mean "Possessing three heads" (tri - 3, glava - head) . Not sure if this is the origin of it, and likely this is similar in other slavic languages, but interesting to know

Their ship names like "Vedmak", "Kikimora" etc. are taken from the slavic mythology.

Not to be overly critical because the video is extremely informative, BUT... Yeah ahh so like kinda for sure the other thing is that like ehm uhh this brings an interesting point that all of this could really use some links to sources. And the lore Discord server.

I think listening to two lore experts talk is interesting, but it's quite unstructured. More moderation from Jin'taan to keep the story straight would be great.

Combat-happy technologically advanced space slavs. One of my favourite takes on the concept, aside from aliens making the scrappy space pioneers slavs!

the jovian emperor (in RL) is romanian, his name is Adrian Soare works at the national radio. Aliens love radio comms.... .right? :) another funny thing is his name 'soare' means sun, in english. Isn't that romantic? :) unfortunately he's being kept under strict cover by the army (nato included) in order people not to find out what kind of monster he is, with his huge empire. They seem to be living on Jupiter and around it. And they definitely want/need a sun, that's directly related with the machine built in one of the 3 pyramids in Egypt. Yes, they are evil to the core.

Another thing to note: when the Enheduanni were trying to get the Matari to revolt, they kidnapped the leaders of the Nefantar, Starkmanir and Thukker tribes in order to influence them. Isn't it kinda odd that they only abducted >>>THREE

Minmitar exhibit a norse motif, as a lot of light-skinned ones that look like vikings. Slavs were cousins to the norse. Space slavs and space norse.

could you imagen to use a worldark to jump into a (procedural generated seed) unknown system (not a "normal" wormhole) as a bridgehead to colonize it for the player (corp)? and yes you should be able to invade it if you have the seed XD (more espionage possibility)

Aliens are just humans with funny prosthetics and blue skin. I much prefer the current human centric lore. It allows CCP to focus on the culture of the different factions.

Except me. My first thought was the company Pearl Abyss having an influence and marking its territory with CCP. I ask myself what is the most glaring issue with the lore of Eve online. Because the answer to the problem isn't going to be pretending fictional characters have a real world. It's going to be understanding the mentality of why we see the triglavians at all.
