A film of absolute sweetness. It tells of the love between a father and his child, it tells of how the power of love can really do everything. Pierce Brosnan gives an intense and touching interpretation. The little girl who plays Evelyn is wonderful and very sweet. There is a slice of Irish history in this film that tells a true story. The story of how a father's love for his children changed Irish law. I have never been able to see it in Italian. I also have the DVD in English subtitled in English ... let's say it was an opportunity to hear Brosnan sing well before the success of Mamma Mia. Luckily I don't have a problem with the language, but it really is a film that caresses the heart. Who hasn't seen it yet, look at it. I find it infinitely beautiful.

Heartwarming!

Really good movie. Also made me think of all the indigenous families that were separated and had their kids dragged to Catholic schools without the parents' consent, and no lawyers to fight for them. Such a sad time.
