I love how when Tubbo touches Tommy’s shoulder, an image of Schlatt floats up, showing that Tommy is afraid that Tubbo is going to take influence of him, and he’s afraid of losing his best friend.

Tubbo turned into the one thing he hated Jschlatt and tommy turned into his worse enemy dream I guess in the end trying to beat their worse enemies made them into their own worse enemy. To kill a Monster you have to become a Monster.

I remember this animatic absolutely breaking me at the time when the dsmp was on, SAD-ist portrayed how their relationship was breaking down perfectly in this, some of those frames give me chills when you see the misdirected fear and anger in tommys eyes, and how tubbo is desperate to show him that he is not like the others. ... i also remember the memes that came from some of these frames LOL

The amount of detail in this is just- wow The way Tubbos motions are more closed, and Tommys are wide and open. Tubbo is probably trying to protect others from his feelings and Tommy is trying to express them because he usually doesnt know how.

One thing i love about this animation is the way that Tubbo and Tommy reflect Schlatt and Wilbur. We see Schlatt standing behind Tubbo in one clip, but at 0:52 Tommy looks similar to Wilbur in his stance. I looked at a picture of SAD-ist's Wilbur and their hair are drawn very similar in the shot. Love the connection❤

Absolutely obsessed with the way Tommy looks the most scared when he says “you’re only scared of me”

1:03 usually I don’t point out those “small detail theories,” but in my head, it seemed like Tommy was covering his face, as if he didn’t want anyone to see him crying, like he thought it made him weak. Tubbo covered his ears, which kind of seemed like he was trying to block out noise, or he was protecting his head. Tubbo seemed more distressed and irritated, while Tommy wanted to hide important parts of himself. I know I’m late and all that, but it’s still fun to think about it! :)

i feel bad for sadist, when they are half way through an animatic 2 main characters die, 4 wars happen, 3 discs are stolen and 2 entire prisons are built

i left the dsmp fandom 5-6 months ago. just revisiting this for memories… i’ll never regret the time i spent in the fandom. it was so, so much fun- but i eventually grew out of it because i couldn’t keep up with the storyline and all the new people. dsmp will always have a special place in my heart. i remember being so pumped when this was posted. i replayed it over 3 times. every now and then i’ll get another sad-ist animation in my recommended, and i’m just so astounded by how much she’s improved. i find this whole channel really inspiring, and i hope it just keeps on growing. i’ll never unsubscribe if i can help it :)

The fact it's already been 3 years since this last came out is scary

I like how Tubbos trying to be a good friend while Tommy for some reason always is seeking for something he calls freedom and privacy

i love how at beginning the tommy’s actions start off big and pronounced but he slowly gets more desperate and emotional, while tubbo starts with being calm and reasonable but eventually gets angry. it really shows how their characters progress when arguing. nice work!!!

The attention to detail is crazy. Tommy’s eyes make it look like he has been betrayed and he is always looking behind and being cautious. While Tubbo’s eyes make him look vulnerable and he trusts everyone.

the animation is so simple, but creates such a masterful story with only movements and song, you can clearly tell how they are feeling and the choice to hvae the song about two bestfriends arguing works so well in context. UGH ITS JUST SO GOOD.

This is my favorite DSMP animation ever. All of the ones that SAD-IST has made are good but this one is just so special ( and so very underrated ).

The way When Tubbo cries and yells he hugs himself shows how he hides his pain and emotions but When Tommy cries and yells he spreads his hands outwards shows how he rages outwards it represents their characters and IT IS KILLING ME
