I've seen people have been complaining about him whispering too much but that's exactly how he talks in the show when he's pissed off and someone challenges him. Chris did a WAY better job with Homelander then he did with Terminator.

The whispering part does a really good job highlighting that he is indeed mentally unstable. Not to mention that his interactions versus himself makes him sound that he does indeed talk to himself rather than another version of himself, which really fits his character.

I do love that they based Homelander specifically on the TV series, much like Peacemaker whereas Omni-Man was a mixture of the comics, the animated series, and their own interpretations.

I think the only beings in MK1 that can stand against him on equal footing are Liu Kang and Omni-Man...and honestly when comparing Omni-Man to Homelander; although he has more blood on his hands, Omni-Man at least has a redemption arc.

Liu Kang and Raiden both invoke the Elder Gods, and Delia and Argus are name dropped a lot. We also see Shinnok's amulet. It's likely there are other gods, we just haven't met them yet.

There's other one, in S01 EP 2, Stilwell talks with Homelander about the plane with the father and the child that he laser'd in EP 1, when she gives him the news he says "Hug your kids, cause you'll never know what might happen", which is an dialogue that he has with Omni-man in Mortal Kombat 1

@@JadensdivineThey could, but a part of Warner's contract say that dc superheroes can't do violent stuff, and they(warner) can say which character could be on mortal kombat games, basically villains and maybe anti-heroes, but they can try crime syndicate or earth 3 characaters
