As some1 who has 300+ h on Bloodborne ps4 and platinum it 2 times with dlc. Now i have ps5 for 3-4 months, and am rly sad there is no patch for 60fps.

@@jamesfretwell1511 Dude, it's a Sony exclusive. For around a decade now the template is as by-the-numbers and lame as an Assassin's Creed game. Why invest time in such a bland game? An interesting story premise does not keep the gameplay from being monotonous. I own the sequel, too, and I don't care to play it. Sony just bolted in on to my PS5, hence the "increased sales." Bland experiences interest me less and less with age. These games need to do something unique to be memorable.

Liam, if you are too old for COD, I imagine I'm not in the same ball park. I'm close to 75!!! I started gaming 73 & I'm having a blast. The PS5 with an LG 27 " 3840 x 2160 (4K) 1ms (GTG at Faster) 144 Hz HDMI monitor helps these old eyes a lot. Thanks for taking time to make and share your videos.

It was the first game I’ve played (after Astro’s Playroom, because Valhalla was still transferring over) on my PS5, and the 60 FPS and fast loading times when fast traveling blew me away. There’s hardly any opportunities to set the controller down to rest your hands a bit.

Plague Tale is an AMAZING game. Played it at release and adored it, but sold it. I was so happy to see it released on PS Plus as a freebie. Great game. I actually own every game on this list other than Borderlands 3, and didn't realise how many had PS5 patches. I am a happy gamer now! Thanks

I was able to finally procure a PS5 5 days ago. So far I've only been playing the director's cut on Ghosts of Tsumima but I had just recently finished the game on my PS4 so I noticed a huge difference instantly going from 1080p to 4K on my beautiful Oled TV. I've been extremely impressed with the PS5 so far and it's worth every penny. I have Days Gone installed for my next gameplay as I've been itching to play through that game again. After that I'll probably zip through The Last of Us 2 and then definitely Horizon Zero Dawn as that is still one of my favorite PS4 games to date and as sexy as it looked on PS4 in 1080p, I absolutely cannot wait to experience it in 4K on the PS5. Super excited to play one of my favorite all-time PS4 games on the PS5. Watch Dogs Legion should be arriving in the mail tomorrow but that will be my first play-through of that game. I'll probably go back and play other game titles on my PS5 such as all of the Uncharted series and releases and one of my all-time favorite movies turned video games, Mad Max. An amazing Open World Post Apocalyptic game that is hardly ever mentioned sadly but is due a little attention.

It’s important to note the titles, even when checkerboard, TARGET 4K, and mostly run a good bit lower. The 60 FPS however is almost a no drop lock on all titles.

@@daniil3815 me personally I recommend an LG OLED CX or newer with HDMI 2.1 ports. That HDMI spec is important when most games get to 4K at 120 FPS. As far as a computer monitor, anything with a decent panel and HDMI 2.1 for a PS5.

I have a ? So I bought a PS5 but haven’t played it yet cuz I had it shipped to my brothers house cuz he lives in TX and I live in PA but I’m going to move down there so it was more convenient for me to send it down there anyways like I said I haven’t played it yet but do all the games run at minimum of 60fps but is the PS5 capable of 120fps or is 60fps the max that the Ps5 can do

The same for me on PS5 and it does on PS4 because it's not made for PS5 yet. It loads pretty slow too which I find pretty funny. I started playing it a second time through when they added infinite ammo and all that stuff just to get some more trophies and out of boredom so I put it on my PS5.

Horizon zero dawn already ran at 2160p checkerboard on the ps4 Pro. The only difference is the frame rate. Not sure what you meant when you said what you said about the resolution it didn't make any sense to me hence the comment

This happens to every gen consoles ... new gen consoles will start to drop fps as soon as devs starts to make games for them alone...My only wish is that let this era be in 60fps as standard refresh rate

It should be. Albeit at 1800p and lower resolution. Demon's Souls is a good example of a gorgeous game that runs well at 60fps with a lower resolution.

Red Dead Redemption 2 needs a native PS5 upgrade... that game probably looked the best of ALL games on PS4, but it NEEDS 60FPS, i'm gonna play it again when they release it

I completely disagree about the ff7 integrade ps5 version. I replayed it in hard mode and it felt like a massive graphical upgrade. They did way more than just up the framerate. Yes the hub area is still a low budget yakuza spinoff but most of the story events are a huge upgrade.

The Last of Us Part II: literally right before he mentions animations, i say outloud, "well they have the best animations" ... every single studio needs to learn from how they changed animations with this game, using small pieces of full animations and letting the AI batch them together for each specific situation, after playing this game, most other games are ruined... i can now spot the transition in the animations in other games when vaulting over obstacles or when sprinting... also i love that by default she moves backwards instead of turning around and running towards the screen

Imo Borderlands 3 has the most impactful upgrade. The loading times made farming absolutely numbingly slow. Now its a blink of the eye. Completely different experience now.

Sekiro was stuck on 60 fps even on the pc. Even at max settings, 1440p it stubbornly used about 30-40% of my gpu. Never seemed to be able to unlock the cap.

So your wrong about a few things, metro Exodus is not native 4k more like 1200p ish. Sekiro is not checkerboard 4k it's CB 1800p and just so you know with horizon 2160p is the same as 4k lol there the same resolution

Checkerboard 4k isn't the same as native 4k! The 2160p bit is accurate which is why Sony tried to make red dead 2 look like it was native 4k like the xbox one x red dead 2 was even though is was 1920 x 2160p which was checkerboard upscaled to full 4k

Not sure if this game was on the first list “Dead by Daylight” looks so good on Ps5. I remember on PS4 pro, I would think how ugly it was, but it was defiantly a huge improvement. I kept looking at the detail in the backgrounds. Also, I just got a new TV.. and the colors and hues are so beautiful.

I'm a little confused about the ps5 settings, do you have to set it to default to get the 60 frames AND resolution on games that have both, or will certain games give you 60 frames, even if you have it on resolution mode?

Yes it is but it can be native(3840 x 2160) or checkerboard(1920 x 2160) then upscaled to fit the 4k window.

Consoles are really cheap to be running 4k specs so ofc it will need rendering methods to be able to run 4k not even the 2080 can run rdr2 at a locked 60 fps 4k lol i mean natively ofc thats when dlss comes in

Get Horizon: Zero Dawn! It’s a truly 10/10 great game. Now on PS5, it’s going to look and run so much better. You won’t be disappointed at all. Oh and get the expansion: Frozen Wilds, as that is mind blowing too.

Does this only apply to using PS4 disks on the PS5 or does redownloading digital PS4 games on the PS5 also give the game the game boost patch

For real, I got my series X in September and enjoyed it but since getting my PS5 last week I’ve just been itching to play so many games on the PS5 even if I already played and beat them on the PS4. Honestly if it wasn’t for GamePass I’d probably just sell the series X.

The improvements will be minimal unless they do a total remaster. Installed on the ps5 harddrive, the load times are cut almost 80%. with 60 frames and 4k its great.

The hunter call of the wild look beautiful on the ps4, but I think the PS5 will make it more beautiful with the fresh 60 frame rate

If you own the game on ps4 its either ready to go or you just have to download the ps5 version which most are free except GTA.

Even digital copies you owned on ps4 are still in your library on the 5. You get all your games back plus they run better.

For example I just got my ps5 this week and I looked at my game livbrary and I have over 100 games that I bought on ps4. They all transfer over…Its fucking great lol

It would be good to see some ps5 games that don't play on ps4.. Every console in history has given the gamer a new experience with every new generation on launch.. I have no idea why everyone is scrambling to get a ps5 as it has no game that are new, even the upcoming ones are on ps4! this generation of consoles have been launched with no next gen experience at all, the games are old, just look and run a tad better.. No changes to gameplay so you're not missing out by not having a next gen console now.. These consoles are powerful, really powerful and should be getting used to make new types of games with scales and gameplay we've never seen, also can't believe the amount of folk who aren't talking about this!

I would agree w you if it wasnt for the loading times and better everything lol. Even San Andreas looks crystal clear and amazing on ps5. Games that had long loading screens now take maybe 2 seconds to load which completely changes games like Elden Ring, Borderlands, anything where you grind levels, farm or fast travel. Its an unbelievably huge difference.

I wish they add Checkerboard or any Temporal Reconstruction solution for the Last of Us on PS5. Or maybe an 1800p with bilinear upscalling is also a welcome.

An updated Driveclub, and BF4 would have been amazing but those games are too old and pre-ps4 pro. Unfortunately. (Uncharted would also be nice).

@@Aquafinaboy Sony PlayStation don't patch 3rd party games, Game developers do. Sony would have to completely change the way their system works so any game can do that.. but again, only as long as the developer created their game to allow for an uncapped framerate.
