At one time, we had 11 cats on our farm (appropriately called “The Cat’s Meow Farm). When it was vet visit time, we would put each cat in a large cardboard box, load the boxes into the cargo van, and head 17 miles into the vet, cats complaining the whole time! We didn’t try to take the cats inside-the vet climbed into the van, the doors were double checked that all were closed tightly, one box got opened, the cat got examined and vaccinated, the box got closed and moved aside. Repeat this process 10 more times, the vet would crawl out again, and it was time to go home. By the way, the entire vet staff loved the day we came in, because it was a three ring circus from start to finish! The ride home was a little quieter, once the noisiest cat figured out how to escape from her box, and climbed onto the driver’s lap. She would fall asleep, and the rest of the cats settled down when the instigator was no longer agitating them!

We had a blue healer that actually had the phrase "prefers female doctor" in his chart...he was a dawg!

My beagle turned into a chainsaw when you came at her with the nail clippers! A really efficient one at that! Lord have mercy, I miss her…..

That was a polar bear at the vet.

Had a Wolfhound to the vets, and he said put him on the table. Just said good luck with that to him. Dog was almost as heavy as me.
