This is amazing. I don't think Julie's intention was to use Even's past and mental illness as merely a plot device, but it could've been handled a little better. I really didn't think we would dig into Even's past this season, seeing as it way mainly about Sana. But alas, I think the fact that this is the last season is why all these storylines were explored, to find closure. But in the process, the Season itself became a little messy. I still love the show though. But seriously, really great editing; I love Even too 😊❤

yassss i was so happy to watch this. i really love the way you started this video, with the quick montage cuts that feel like a sort of summary of even's representation in this show. you have such an identifiable style, i always love the way you combine effects and narrative. your parallels are always so spot on!! i especially love the parallels between the karaoke scene and o helga natt from 0:51-0:56, the parallels of even and magnus broing it out around 1:03, the smiley sana and even parallels at 1:08, as well as the ones where even is leaning towards isak around 1:11. i completely 110% agree with your description. even is my favorite character in this show, i relate to him a lot. so it's been hard to watch the injustice he's had to undergo this season. thank you for making this

This video is so well thought. Because of so many aspects, little details, really, it's so hard to comment it. Even the way you introduced us with the simple title - "Even" - tell us so much. And when you made the screen flicker when his name came, I felt my mind short circuit. Because it resonates with his mental state so well! And I saw your (not so subtle) shading with "said it" crossed out - the main problem with this season is that it's so uneven with the way the storytelling is so unreliable... And it leaves the bitter taste afterward because Even and we as a fandom deserve better. We need him to tell his story himself. And this video gives a taste of what mindblowing his story really could be. Everything falls into right place. Your shots as always leave me speechless. You are the king and queen of viding Even. The way you included his every meaningful relationship and linked everything to the lyrics, making the transition between sad&happy scenes so smooth is art. ART. I don't have the words. Just. It's like I'm all curious to know exactly what happened and what was it with him wanting to become muslim, kissing Mikael, trying to kill himself and all that, and then everything is swiped under the rug as just "oh, just Even's mental illness" and everything's fine and everyone is just friends again. I also think that the fighting scene wasn't well explained... it's very out of character and logic for Isak to simply punch Mikael just because Even tried to kiss him once. It simply doesn't make sense. But I guess Julie is more concerned about the William and Noora thing again and with dragging Yousana slowly.
