An eagle season like we've never before seen! Sadly, we lost our beloved Harriet. But M15 deserves the Eagle Father-of-the-Year award. He constantly hunted, keeping two eaglets well-fed. And Harriet's last babies, E21 and E22, survived against all odds, fending off all kind of bird attacks. The spirit of Harriet definitely lives on and these two young eagles.

Ahhh there's our M. He appears to still be going through some serious molting. It will pass. On Cam 3 it looks like he then flew towards the back yard and maybe have a quiet evening with his gal pal.🦅💞🦅

Harriett and M15 were the very first pair I had discovered last fall. Because of them, I have gone in to follow some 25 nests or so. I have learned so much from these magnificent creatures. Thank you M15, Harriett (wherever you may be), E 21 and E 22 for giving me the original gift of eagle cam watching. It’s a gift that gives forever and can be passed on.

Raising two eaglets by himself has taken its toll on mighty M. He's earned a good rest and a chance to put on some weight. I hope he finds a good mate. Any female would be lucky to have him. He's a world class eagle dad.

I have never owned a bird but took care of one that was my sisters and it was molting that one year and he had looked about as bad as M15 does and I honestly had forgotten that this is molting season. So, I deeply apologize for thinking it wasn’t M15. I’m thrilled it was him and I took a snapshot to keep of him too even though I do have a lot of him and E22 from this year alone.🥰👍🏻❤️🦅🦅 I also have a snapshot of Harriett too and even E21 also. What a rollercoaster ride with Harriet and M15 this year, but they our so special to us eagle watchers! I still watch old videos of Harriet and I am so Thankful for these video's! We will never forget the impact this season had on all of us with our loss of Harriet, but M15 proved it to all of us, against the odds these Eaglets survived because of a strong(dad)M15. M15 visiting the nest is a powerful contemplation, and expression of all that the season has been. He has been equipped and empowered to run ahead of the chariot, and the right hand of grace has been upon him at the church pasture. I think he was probably waiting to see if E22 was going to come in for the evening. I believe E22 is still in the area and was just here the other morning. M15 has triumphed against all odds, provided, prepared and excelled in every single area as a father. He is the quintessential bald eagle super dad, and quite amazing. He has fought off GHOs, rogue, Eagles and all things to prepare E21, who is amazing and E22 is a tribute to the legacy of Harriet and M 15, a pure joy. This is my confirmation each season, that our E's have dispersed, when the adults appear back at the nest tree..this season, it's just M15.😢It was time for E22 I suppose, but my heart wasn't ready! 💔 We have a few weeks left to see if we get a surprise visit, but my guess is E22 has taken flight to begin their journey. I am so happy that E 22 is still around. I was sad when Ladyhawke said is this goodbye for him and then we didn’t see him for a day. I was sad I was sad. I’m glad to see he’s back. I hope he stays.

After being the sole parent and great provider to his and Harriet’s babies, successfully raised two wonderful juvenile eagles. This was the last of her legacy and M15 ensured he did his duty by feeding, protecting and raising his young. It makes me sad as he flew to perch upon the attic branch. I wonder now that he has time to himself, he is now feeling the loss of the love of his life. M15 was too busy to go through the grieving process of his life’s mate. It feels as though he was hoping Harriet would show up. I can’t guess as to what happened to our beautiful and diligent matriarch SWFL Eagle, but I do know she would have never abandoned her babies. I wish nothing for the best for M15 and pray that he remains safe until his return during breeding season. The next female eagle has HUGE talons to fill. There was no Eagle like Harriet. I loved her as millions around the world did also. I still mourn her.

That is awesome that dad came to the nest tonight but, I’m just wondering if this is really dad M15? The reason I ask this is because this Eagle looks very thin (sickly) also, the top of M15’s head, his feathers have some dark areas in his feathers like what I call salt and pepper feathers.😁❤️🦅🙏 Also, the face for some reason just didn’t look like M15’s to me either. Now after saying that, I really am gonna say that I’m thrilled that dad came back to the nest and I sure do hope that we do get to see him and E22 again also tomorrow. m15 was coming back to check on the fish he dropped off for E22 at 20:35. E22 never can to get it and M15 can back this morning and took the fish away at 06:40 😢
