Event Completed, NEW Chip Set and All Rewards!

After a lot of hard work (and automation), I've finally completed the 3rd tier of Astroneer's EXO C.A.R.E.S. Initiative Event!
But simply finishing the event is not enough!
That's why I also achieved 120k+ points, unlocking an entirely new set of mysterious chips!?
How will these play into Astroneer's overall lore? I guess we'll have to wait and find out...

In the 80s there was a cartoon called Captain Planet. That is what the Hat, Pallet, and visor are modeled after in honor of earth day when the event started.

I hope there's a way to get the previous 5 chips again, I only ever got 1 because I hopped back into the game too late. I even missed the tier 3 reward. 😑

You can use a proximity repeater and a storage sensor to activate the exo care rockets automatically

I am wondering something, I have the 5 chips from the Buretto challenge but on another save, Do these 5 chips need to be on the same save or can they be on different saves, Anyone know??

I guess we need them on the same save. We might need to feed them into a special item or something like that. This system of feeding items into something is used in some missions, so I'm guessing that's how we will use the chips as well.
