Can I still use the Solton 13 footpedal with the Event X? I play midi accordion. Sue.

I like your work my friend, thanks. What do you think about the mix of Korg pa5x + Ketron EventX sound module? I became crazy with Ketron event potentiaIs and possibilities, but I play mainly Middle Eastern music that's why Korg is very important to me because its support for instruments/sounds/styles from that region, would like to here your insights on this, thanks.

Just purchase one and nothing works when I plug into in2(keyboard) in the back, but does in in1(GM). I have checked keyboard on midi inputs connections for in2(keyboard). Have updated to newest os before trying it out. Any suggestions or do I have a lemon and should send back.

well said Tiho...." Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder" an English proverb says, at the same time one might say " beautiful music is in the Ear of the Listener". P.S. I now play the Event and it is a superb musical tool......

Your comments , I feel are very fair about you comparing other products with the Event you mention even if they are , as you state “in your opinion” . I have used Genos for 5 years now for my gigs and for me it is a love hate situation. I like the warm sound especially the Euro organ sounds. It has been an all rounder all singing dancing sound my little audiences seem to like that at my gigs but the part I don’t like is the way most all the automatic style backings which I find rigid and very song specific particularly with intros and endings seem to take over and run the show. I learned to play organ the old school way with two keyboards and bass pedals and the Genos/Tyros situation feels a bit like Karaoke not leaving me any chance to play with my own natural expression because everything is pre planned .Painting by numbers .Then there is also the lack of seamless sound transition which makes me cross. Genos is plastic with buttons which feel somewhat cheap but cost a lot of money for safety net gimmick features catering heavily in favour for the novice buyer, in my view . The Event X has been a breath of fresh air using it at home with my Hammond XK-5 organ. If I use style backings of the Event at all they are not in my face and I can still use a proper manual foot bass if I want which turns off the automatics leaving me as the leading performer , not just “sitting in” The sound of the Event is very natural and the physical construction is mainly metal, not plastic. I cannot comment on the Korg as I haven’t had much experience with one. Having said all this however , many of the people I have heard who play Genos and Korg certainly do a great job with it and sound very good and it obviously suits them. That is great and it would be boring if we were all the same. It would have been nice to have a bit more user memory for sample voices on the Event though for my vintage rare sounds At least 2 gigabytes and more slots.

Tiho, what do you think about Yamaha MODX or MONTAGE?
@Tiho20129 ай бұрын
I love Montage. Excellent instrument and for me, Yamaha workstations have always been in the first place for my taste. It has very natural colors of acoustic instruments, especially Piano, Guitar and Cello.

Wenn ich aber den Ketron mit einer "Aufnahme" irgendwelcher Musik vergleiche, bin ich mit dem Ketron näher an der Aufnahme dran, als mit dem Yamaha. Yamaha klingt insgesamt in jeder Voice etwas dünner. Aber Yamaha klingt auch anders, ich hab das Gefühl das jede Voice angepasst wurde um weicher zu klingen. LG Michael
