The books! I loved the (which one was it?) the one where everyone gets cursed or something? And the Jabberwocky comes out and they have to fight it? The narrator went wonky? All I can really remember is that the protagonists were Cedar, Kitty, Lizzie, and Maddie. I love the last three so much

I've read the trilogy, the 6 part series, the EAH and MH crossover, and the two extra books. I've read all of them at least twice (Ginger's book was bad and it made me sad since the rest of the series is awesome)

They actually did have a crossover not in the movies though (unless of course, you count cupid). There was one book where the too worlds collided I think it was just a couple character though and in that book we learn that there are even more highschools like I think there was Holiday High and like a high school for Greek gods/goddeses, and of course Shadow High, the namesake of the book. I remember the plot being really good and my mom getting mad at me for reading it since she hated anything to do with monsters.

the novels are what got me hooked on the series! i read those things over and over so many times the pages started to fall out lol

There were actually Descendants books too with the backstories and all too called "Isle of the lost"the plot was based on them there totally was a plot. Sincerely an eah and Descendants fan eah was canceled because Mattel wanted to too not because disney hijacked it it was loosing fans at the time too so

And the reasoning is so sad, too! When she was a kid she had, well... A silly goofy traumatic experience of nearly drowning in a well and wasn't rescued for hours, and her mom, when she was found, instead of supporting her and comforting her like a normal person, she used that near death experience as a way to ensure that Apple would follow her destiny, because if she did, then she would end up okay at the end. "Yeah the poison's gonna hurt, but it's only a week, and you get a castle and happy ending." Y'know, like a psychopath. And that's one of the reasons why she's so pushy, because she was conditioned to believe if she didn't follow her destiny, she'd die. Come to think about it, everyone calls Apple bitchy(I don't think that) but where's that energy for her mom? Apple's mom sucks ass.

Same! I hate descendants because the show was very disney channel quality and I feel that all of the characters were very shallow. It was such an obvious cash grab for the diehard disney fans. EAH had a great cast of characters with a lot of depth to their characters. If it ever comes back, I'd love to see more characters from stories and folklore from other countries too!

Yeah, it had tons of potential, but they did the winter one and stuff and I wasn't too into it. It seemed like they where trying to compete with Disney too much at that point. But, the main story line for the show and the main books are very detailed. This show had so much coming, I think if the show came out recently it would've done better. Disney stole their thunder with descendants and Eah could never recover from that.
