To get the holes lined up I just use a small thin rod to help line up the other holes to keep from having to realine for a long time.

Gentry said I check in on y'all

Next time you install a shifter like that, try using a long stem punch or a 20 penny nail to line up the holes.

Don’t know if screws are Phillips ,straight blade standard . Torques . There are screw starters magnet on one end twist lock on other end torques are bits for magnetic drivers . Might help from dropping screws and can’t find em ! Nice job on installation !
