Hello friends
Welcome to the Himalayas. For the next 216 hours we'll be surviving in the Himalayan mountains. That's right! We're going to Everest Base Camp 2023. Which means trekking, living and breathing in the highest altitude ever. For the next 9 days we will be making our way to 5364m of elevation through villages, incredible mountain ranges, and not much oxygen. But before that, we need to survive the world's most dangerous flight to the world's most dangerous airport i.e. Lukla Airport. With the shortest landing strip in the world - hold on tight for the biggest adventure yet.

Could you remove the background music please, i suppose at some places like where there's cinematography its fine, but while trekking its nice to hear the sweet nature, the background music makes it all noisy

Hello Vivek, thanks for the appreciation bro. We miss Kala Pathar bcoz of bad weather and low visibility but that was ok bcoz if we reach kala pathar, unable to see Mount Everest Sunrise due to bad weather. My backpack was around 11kg with necessary items for the trek such as 10 T-shirts ( lot of sweating while you trek), trekking shoes, waterproof jacket, thermals, Sunscreen, treking poles, water purifier tablets etc. Actually I have shown my backpack items in my first video of Everest Base Camp Trek. Have a nice trip.

Thank you for the reply. Our guide is suggesting to go to Gokyo Ri via Cho La Pass from EBC. That would add three more days to the entire trek. Do you think that would be doable for intermediate level hikers?

I think this will be a long and tiring hike bcoz you have to return also. If you are fit then it is doable.

Hi Siddharth ! I am around 60 year old and EBC has always remained my dream destination...Do you think I can do this trekking? I do cycling on and average 20 kms a day and very recently I went to Sandakphu ...But EBC is in different level altogether...

do you get western style toilets? are toilets available along the route? my guide is asking me to carry pee tubes, never tried and am apprehensive to use it.

Yes we get western toilets in most of our stay except our Lukla hotel. I don't think pee tubes are necessary and we were not asked to carry pee tubes by our guides.

Yes. But keep a water bottle inside your blanket at night so you can use it in the toilet . The water in the toilet is generally frozen in the morning😅

Hello sir I booked my journey with Thrilophilia so they arrange me a porter. A porter carry 10 kg of wt. rest I have to carry. You have choosen the most beautiful trek so I suggest you to enjoy the full journey. Purchase all the necessary items from India specially treking gears because in Nepal they are costly. The trek is not difficult so just go and have fun. Thanks

Bro, what is the trekking scene over there, is trekking solo or without a guide still allowed there? How to get the permit without a guide in that case?

Trekking solo is allowed bro but I suggest you to take a guide. In case you are traveling solo you can get the permits easily when you reach the khumbu rural municipality gate for 2000 Nepali rupees and 2nd permit on entering to Sagarmatha National park it's for 1500 Nepali rupees. Have a nice trip.

Apr to Oct is best for EBC Trek because the weather is pleasant. December is very cold and due to snowfall some parts of the trek become risky still many people do the trek in winter's also.
