Chris' recent video:
• Taper Attachment Rebor...
Last year, before my family moved, Chris from Just1Guy Metalworks gave me a shout and asked me to make him some dovetail blocks for his Atlas lathe. He did not have a mill yet, and I think he's a cool guy, so I agreed.
They didn't come out perfect, but are still plenty usable as they are, and now that he's making progress on his part of it I can finally share the two part videos.
As always, thanks for watching, and for staying with me and my little channel!

Thanks Randy, the cutters are excellent, and the inserts you pack with them cut well for a long time. Feel free to cut, link, and/or excerpt anything from my videos if it helps you with your cutter marketing, hopefully it can be of help with that.

Thanks Paul, he's got a cool idea on the go, and makes my brain spin regarding how to retrofit a taper attachment onto my lathe. The King 12x36's had a taper option, but I didn't want to spend the ridiculous extra amount and wait longer for the order so opted out of it. Ironically after using one at night school machining classes I came to want one, lol . . .

Thanks Dan, part of why I do show steps is for those who are "real" machinists to offer better ways of doing things. I've learned many things from viewers who know WAY more than me. Btw, I do have the stickers you sent but I'm a bit behind in video editing, so it is coming at some point here!

Hi Everett..part 2 came out really nice, which should work fine. Glad you didn't have to make a gib lol. I like the travel you have on that Mill, make the Rong Fu RF 30 look like a Starter Kit Toy .. lol Looking forward to your New Upgrade Shop, when in Operation

Thanks Ted, the gib part is Chris' responsibility, lol. I even sent material for him to make it. As for the RF 30 machines, there is nothing wrong with them as long as you know how to use them - I had a clone before this one and would have kept it had I had room in my old shop, lol! Ironically the new shop would have had space, but my buddy Eldon bought the old mill so I feel good that he at least now has a mill to use too.

Thanks for the support, I do have a bit of update/sticker stuff, and a couple small parts videos to edit yet. For what it's worth I would have kept the mill-drill had I the space in the old shop. you should be able to get papers without the glued edges. "O B's" (aka "Old Broad's") is one brand i know of. that way you won't have them sticking together while sitting in your toolbox.
@EverettsWorkshop

I have never seen ones without glued edges - granted I don't smoke ("standard" tobacco or otherwise), so not an expert in these matters. I still have a bunch of Zig-Zags to use but when I get low again I'll check into the non-glued variety. Thanks for the suggestion!
