Evergrande, the world’s most indebted property developer, was ordered to be liquidated by a Hong Kong court on Monday after years of failed attempts to restructure it. Announcing the ruling, the judge said: "It is time for the court to say enough is enough." The Shenzhen-based developer has become a poster child of China’s property crisis since 2021, with total liabilities of over $300 billion. Analysts say the decision is good news for China's economy in the long run, but will be painful. CNN's Kristie Lu Stout reports.
