Every time I am done with a Skyrim character I have them return to their home to join their family or friends once more, be it in a home they own or their guild or whatever. My last character was a rogue. I made her when I was really depressed so all we would do was just explore, not bothering with quests. When we got to Solstheim though... I don't know if it was the music or the somewhat dead surroundings or maybe a mix but it felt like she, or rather I was home. When I was done with her I left her overlooking the mountains on this one waterfall, my favourite little place to just have the sounds going on as I did other stuff. I don't know why I'm typing this, guess I just want to share that this game has a lot of meaning to me.

Me and jenessa were ambushed in a clearing near falkreath. I was hurt pretty bad and thought it the end. But jenessa blocked the killing blow. That stubborn elf barely knew me. She was to kind for her own good. I left my Black Star on her chest so Azura may guide her. I still visit that pond sometimes....

I started playing Skyrim again a few months ago, and I remember my first time going to Solstheim. When I cleared Blodskal Barrow I remember looking out from the high part of the tower and watching the waves. It was one of the best views in the game, despite the ashy sky. The Road Most Travelled was playing, and that made it even better :D - it's really amazing how detailed this game's map is (except for having to climb mountains almost every single quest)

Skyrim is much more than a game. This is an amazing world, an amazing universe. I started playing skyrim when I was 10 years old. At that moment, as he just went on sale. Damn it, this game amazed me to the core. Then I was a boy, but I remember as now all those unique emotions. Now I am 18 and I still return to this world. This music, these sounds of nature, this huge and mesmerizing lore. Guilds, cities, quests, how cool is that. This game means a lot to me. She was always with me during the shitty moments of my life. How damn it I love her) P. S. Skyrim is my home and a place where I can always return and be happy

Going to Solsteim in Skyrim for the first time was such an experience. The music brings such great nostalgia for me. Dragonborn hit something particular with me that cannot be matched by the rest of the game. Maybe it's all the deep lore and history of the Dunmer, or maybe it's the somewhat alien and somber land, or Miraak's haunting voice when you go to sleep. But even that boat pulling into the docks sent me back. And as always, the soundtrack pulls its weight.

Whiterun and Raven Rock. The two places i visit the most. Well, Whiterun is just a useful place but Raven Rock... I just like to land there with the 7:34 music on the background and listen all the appreciation from the people. The nice alchemyst lady, the military captain, the other lady who's married to the miner. It's just so peaceful to finally see some acknowledgement from NPCs. I actually feel like i'm home whenever i visit here. Seeing my Dark Elf friends happy and relieved because of my efforts makes me feel so happy. I like it here so much (: " I don't know who sent you here, but you gave us some hope to build something around here. I just hope we can repay you for your kindness someday." "With the ash spawn taken care of my men can finally rest, thank you friend." "We are the same kinds you and i, i'm glad i've met you."

I accidentally hit one of miraak’s mining statues... shortly after I pitched a tent in the wilderness of solstheim as my character was tired . I woke up mining at a ritual stone , like one of those mind controlled folk you see . When I left , Miraaks words “Far from yourself” appeared on my subtitles . For the next few hours it stayed there . And i was so immersed because i got this feeling like my character was longing to go to that ritual site again. Like miraaks power was seriously daunting and real . Probably my most favorite moment in the entire game .

Before I resumed my studies, I had decided to switch from LOTR ambience to the majestic and nostalgic tunes of Skyrim as a way to reminisce the many adventures I had underwent with vaious companions. This time being soundtracks specifically played within the land of Solsheim (a DLC exclusive expansion, allowing exploration to the border of Morrowind). Anyways, while sitting here attempting to study for math well past midnight, I could not help but to be reminded of the time I temporarily lost a great warrior and follower, Teldryn Sero; a dark elf Solsheim native. Teldryn Sero and I have ventured through countless quests together until one night I had decided to part ways. With time, regret came to me and I did everything I could to try and find him (ps3, so no console cheats or mods). I looked everywhere in Solsheim but to no avail. Prior to this, we had mutually disbanded at my lakeview manor household, which is located far south, in around the depths of the untravellable snow prominence. I then assumed he began to travel, on foot, to Solsheim. It had been over a week in-game, so I just started to hastily venture on the path heading to the Windhelm docking ships, which take you to the much dryer and lifeless region of Morrowind. Towards seemingly the end of my already grueling journey, my company was met with the ruthless combination of a harsh blizzard and a relentless duo of bloodthirsty Werewolf Vargrs. Being extremely demoralized and exhausted, I had almost lost all sense of hope when suddenly, the snow storm begins to clear revealing a distinguishable man walking close ahead with a torch, as well as my prized dawnbreaker sword still equipped to his hip. Without hesitation, I welcomed him back to my party with rejoice and following a brief moment of equipment lending, we all headed off to attempt to slay Karstaag (which we never managed to accomplish).
