Iwobi was immense this game. Apart the sloppy pass before the 3rd goal, he was constantly beating Brighton LW and LB, always looking to get in the box. His defensive before starting attacks was also great. What a performance!

Stupendous away win for Everton! What a performance by both our players and our fans! Every Everton player played their part manly, they all had that "never-give-up" attitude. All worked their socks off defensively and we made superb counter-attacks with speed and purpose. And we scored brilliant goals. Patterson, Mykolenko, Tarkowski, Gueye, Garner and Iwobi were very good (and Onana's pass for our fifth goal). Pickford, Mina, Doucoure, McNeil and Calvert-Lewin were outstanding. One wish: no unnecessary yellow cards such as Mina's for time wasting and Doucoure's for arguing with the referee (not to speak about Onana's when still on the bench). Those can in our next games hinder the player fully performing and taking some risks in the latter part of the game. Everton showed that when our players have that ultimate fighting spirit, belief and confidence, anything can happen. So Everton can take the three points against Manchester City at Goodison if we can put in the same kind of performance as against Arsenal home and now Brighton away! Go for it Everton, we still need quite many points to stay up!

I've seen fan comments so negative of practically everyone on the field at one point or another. Say what you like about DCL Everton have been better with him. He may not score all the time, but he makes things happen. Even critical of Mcneil, whitout whom we'd have scored 4 less in this game and a lot less this season. The guy works hard.
