Glad it was helpful! I do not notice a change in tone. The only difference I can sometimes notice is that my evertune will intonate more like a piano on certain chords. ( Which can be good or bad ) Also depending on how the evertune is set up on a non evertune guitar a note will generally go sharp depending on how hard it is struck. Which is another plus or negative depending on the song style etc.

The wood lost has far less impact than the strings being anchored to springs that absorb tone. Sounds like a body made of wet oatmeal.

In general it has increased my productivity greatly in the studio. It's not right for every song - but most of the time it is great to have.

I find my self using it often out of convenience in the studio. If anything it is a good reference track for intonation. That being said I have some tracks that I have re-recorded with a hard tail. Reason why is the hard tail will have more emotional impact -- I think because of the sound of guitar intonation verses pitch perfect evertune.... (Depends on style etc)

A floyd rose bridge would do the exact same thing since it is not fixed and depends on the tension of the other strings vibrating.

@@davor6966 yeah those are trash too. Fixed bridge is going to get more tone.

@@MichaelDespairs in my opinion, just dont use a tremolo. So much effort to change strings just so you can do a gimmicky vibrato sound and rarely use it.

Thank you for commenting! I think everyone should have more than 1 electric guitar and 1 of them should be an evertune. :) The difference are there but in general I do not think they lessen the emotional impact when it comes to rhythm guitars.

Evertune saves so much time

if you prefer dark mushy tone then go for it.
