Barbie and the Nutcracker means so much to my girls and now grandkids. It's a Christmas classic in our house.

I suggest you remove those old batteries from your dolls, since the liquid may ruin the mechanism and so the doll. Also, my favourite dolls are Clara and Odette. 💚

Ok but the sight of all barbie movie dolls from 2001 to 2015 looks honestly amazing Even though I don’t like some of the movie dolls from those years they are just still so colorful and neat and prettier looking than the recent barbie movie doll At this point I lost hope for mattel but it’s always fun to look back at their legacy and what some of the previous designers created that later became one of the iconic Barbie dolls ever produced Love ur collection

This was a fun review! My goal in life is to collect all the African American versions of the Barbie movie dolls. And a correction to one of the things you mentioned: Barbie Mermaidia is actually the first sequel to a Barbie movie, Fairytopia spawned a whole trilogy with Mariposa being the spin-off. Favorite Barbie movies are always Island Princess and Nutcracker! But Rapunzel, Mariposa, and Rock N Royals are very closely behind. My favorite doll is Odette (who I always wanted but I never got as a kid), Annika, and the first Mariposa.

Definitely My favourite is Barbie in the Nutcracker! I remember when i was a child, I watched the film hundred times lol, I have all the dolls in the film too. This doll just reminded me of the innocence and beauty of Barbie and my childhood days..🤗🤗

What a throwback, the swanlake Barbie was my favourite! I remember taking her with me to bed and using the wings as flashlight while reading under my bedcovers. 😂 I also had the castle and while it was rather simple compared to some other Barbie Castles I liked it a lot, because it fit for any type of play style really. I occasionally even used it as a normal house for my modern Barbies and Bratz.

First movie i saw- Barbie and the Rockers, the 80's movies you mentioned. grew up watching it. My favourite is Barbie in the Nutcracker. Gorgeous movie, my favourite ballet. Id love for them to do a Snow Queen movie. I think if they did the movie properly and made a doll with how pretty and extravagant you can be with a snow queen/winter theme, that would be stunning.

Imo the Secret Door doll is the worst, it looks so similar to the Dreamtopia dolls, the whole movie had awful colors, especially in the fairytale world. I would've much preferred a basic doll of Alexa in her yellow floral dress at the beginning of the film, it was pretty cute. It would also be really nice if Barbie had a Halloween-themed movie based off of some traditional spooky tales, set in a historical period like most fairytales are, but unfortunately they probably won't ever do that because they have to market for Dreamhouse Adventures. 😔

My favorite Barbie movie growing up was The 12 Dancing Princesses (it still is after watching all of them.) My favorite doll is Clara from the nutcracker. The only doll I owned was the barbie diaries doll but I did own Rapunzel, 12 dancing princesses, magic of the rainbow, mermaidia, thumbalina, and Christmas Carol on DVD. And yes, you need to watch Island Princess!!!

It deserves a million of views, I love all the Barbie Movies from 2001 up to early 2010’s, it’s just really amazing and beautiful,I didn’t like movies released from 2015 up to 2020. For me, Barbie lost her charm and being so magical in this new generation, the dolls quality are also cheapen too.

Princess and the Pauper is my favorite! I also have a soft spot for The Three Musketeers and the Magic of Pegasus, and watch A Christmas Carol every year! I love Christmas Carol adaptations and that's one of the better ones out there, to be honest. I was doing my first work from home job around the time they came out, and I watched the videos while working as an editor. They made for pleasant content that I could watch while still focusing on comma placement and citations lol.

Mermaidia, magic of the rainbow and the mariposa movies are sequels to fairytopia. So a mermaid's tale isn't the first Barbie movie to get a sequel. But I understand how you could forget I mean Elina (Barbie) has different wings in all of the movies. And in Mariposa, of course Mariposa is the main character.

Seeing Barbie of Swan Lake's wings snap up took me right back! I got her for xmas in 2003 and loved her so much, even though I didn't really like the movie lol. I'd love to get her again. I really want the Christmas Carol Barbie as well and I agree with you that it's one of the most watchable Barbie movies. I want Fashion Fairytale, though I haven't seen the movie, and Princess Charm School, for which I have seen and love the movie. I just love the whole princess school concept even though the plot was super predictable. I also want Barbie and the Pink Shoes and want to see the movie because I love ballet. I really want to see Starlight Adventure and get the doll. Finally I have seen and love Video Game Hero and would love to have her, I love the pseudo-anime style

Exactly the same thing happened with my musketeer doll's sword - I think it snapped the moment I opened it! My favourite doll would have to be the Odette one; I sadly never owned her but I was OBSESSED with those light-up wings when I was little. Barbie of Swan Lake might well be my favourite Barbie movie, although I also used to love Rapunzel, The Nutcracker and the Princess and the Pauper (names abbreviated).
