Simply extraordinary. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻🎸🎤🎶👍🏻 There are certain legendary groups that are recognizable around the world for their music performed as an ensemble, and U2 is certainly among them. What I like best about the Nuno Casais renditions is that he offers the incredible artistry in the songwriting of these groups in a solo live presentation in a way that allows us to answer the question “what would U2 sound like if their songs were brought to us not by a band working together to create a tremendous show, but instead were given to us in a singer-songwriter?” 🤔 Nuno shows us that in the hands on a gig Ted singer-songwriter, these songs retain their brilliant artistry and power to move us in the same way or sometimes more so than they do in a group presentation at a large venue. It is a credit to Nuno’s arrangements, magnificent voice and brilliant guitar loops created before us - but it’s shared also in the strength of the songs….sometimes his gets lost be the masterful performances on Bono, The Edge $ the rest of U2. Nuno’s renditions, first and foremost serve the song, and give them a chance to flourish in a brilliance that is new and exciting. This my friend, showcases the art in pure form, not in a downtown gallery, but as it is as the artist first experiences it … before the paint or ink is dry.
