Bretonnia plays second fiddle to Empire and Wood Elves. Empire plays second to Kislev

@@christiandauz3742 Empire plays second to no one and their greatest relic (Ghal Maraz, obviously a warhammer) is referenced in the franchises name. Sigmar is the only god outside of the chaos gods who poses a threat to them. Kislev even as a complete faction won’t survive most campaigns, and honestly idk why you’re claiming that anyone plays second fiddle to them when they aren’t even in the game yet and you have no idea how good they’ll be. In my opinion they look fairly dull with their faction highlight being their bears and I’ll probably end up playing the chinese ripoff faction far more because at least with them I won’t feel like a lesser Empire with bear mounts.

Repanse is amazing and can get the strongest weapon for a lord. She is a master in killing infantry and with her legendary hero that is a anti large killer they are a deadly combo. Forget the start location and try her out, a lot of fun.

I don't know if it was a joke, bur where did you see Henri was Repanse's husband ? She is supposed to be a pure virgin, being the incarnation of faith and holy war, not even interested in relationships with men. Just like Joan of Arc, all the men following her are only her companions in war.

Well, it's a point of view but I think you exaggerate it a lot. After being at war, Marienburg often ends up as one of your best allies and acts like a shield on your east side plus giving you lots of income from trade. I don't know how other Empire factions can be a problem, especially Reikland, 90% of the time becoming allies with you. The Greenskins trhreat can be destroyed really fast after a few turns. The only real pain in in the ass is indeed Norsca, which can be really annoying to manage. Also since Rakarth was put in Albion, he sometimes can be really annoying. And the Red Duke somehow destroying other Bretonnians can happen sometimes. On the other hand, the Fay has less more trade opportunities and a weaker economy. She is under constant pressure from Ikit or Khazrak and later the Wood Elves who always declare war on you for some season, particularly Durthu. I don't know, it feels like we don't play the same campaign at all, I agree more with Colonel than you, even though I personnally think Repanse has the best starting location.

@@Casimir2811 I think i am not that exaggerating but certainly a bit overspeaking in places. The situation is, whenever i play with the King at very hard, at turn 13, i usually have 2 or 3 Worldwalker armies, 2 or 3 Marienburg armies, some goblin parties from Massif Orcal in the same time around Couronne and believe me that is after times and times decisive victories. Now, Fey or Repanse doesn't have anything like that. Not even Alberic is not taking that much beating. Correct me if i am wrong.

Being on the northern end of Bretonnia, the King definitely has to face the most challenges, especially Rakarth from Albion now, and stacks from Norsca, fairly regularly. But the Red Duke, Marienburg, and any local greenskins should be destroyed early, and their lands seized. However much money you can earn from trading with Marienburg pales in comparison to how much you'll make owning their 3 settlements plus one of the best ports in the Mortal Empires map.

1, the pause button exists if you're not playing on legendary or multiplayer 2, the latest patch has made cavalry absolute trash, I'm sorry, but it's true.

Before the greenskin incursions were patched, they were just an initial 20 turn public order penalty that resulted in farmable exp and gold for the Fae, and the Wood Elves have been more or less hostile/aggressive across numerous patches as well.

Those are good campaigns to actually finish, they're concise with a manageable endgame.

@@cobrazax I've got experience from TWQ2, but I haven't yet ventured into the Lustria Bowl as Alberic. There should be guides coming out across YT for TWW3.

@@cobrazax well, again, you can check these guides, but it's mostly about -dont blow your peasant budget -use infantry to guard your bows, then use your cavalry to kill everything the bows don't -life magic is important, especially for your lords and heroes.

Bretonnia if used properly are a top 3 faction

@@jadonhook52 You have to cheese the hell out of them to get that effect - I prefer to hammer my enemies to dust instead of cheap tricks.
