As someone who’s played this since release, love the logic of removing cars instead of you know the oppressor MK2

Removing cars like the Comet and the Infernus hits hard considering the fact they've been around for a looooong time in previous GTA titles.

Funny thing is that most of the OG cars were still used by many new players... the comet for example was one of the most used vehicles throughout the GTA History... and now we can't even own them by going through LS custom...

I think the worst part is the vehicle that has made SO MANY people quit (MK2) is still in the game but some of the cars I would have used (if I didn't quit 2 years ago) if the MK2 wouldn't blow me up 10 seconds out of the garage

The saddest part is some of the cars removed are the ones I really need now because I haven’t completed my fast and furious garage T-T (and I have a habit of buying cars that are only discounted)

This is such a dick move by R*. The fact that they removed a lot of the OG/Day One vehicles is extremely disappointing, especially the Infernus considering that car has been around since GTA III. I honestly think that a petition must be made to bring back all of those removed vehicles. Some of them I was planning on adding to my movie & tv car garage.

It's so frustrating because there's nothing we can do, literally 100% of the player base wants this update undone and rockstar will still find a reason not to undo it

I wasn't to bothered until seeing this. Literally all they needed was a better filter system, and you can't tell me that wouldn't be insanely easy to develop and integrate compared to everything else they do.

That custom jester was one of the few cars that was in story mode and they removed it so not only have they never added anything to story mode they have infact removed stuff.

Just a friendly reminder that if you have a friend that owns any car in the game you can take them down to the Car Meet and buy that exact car. It comes with all the mods and performance upgrades as well.

It's kind of sad that instead of adding a SEARCH BAR to the websites, they instead just removed a lot of actually great and useful cars from the websites, like the XA-21, one of my favourite cars in GTAO. Also, they didn't remove them from the game completely, you just can't buy them form the websites anymore. You can still get them from other players, wheelspins, ls car meet prize, or from a car dealership. Maybe car dealerships will have a purpose now.

This is by FAR the worst dlc this game has EVER received. Every single one of these cars are now unusable in racing events. You can't propose the use of a car which is impossible to buy. Not only that but a huge amount of these cars are some of the most enjoyable to drive in the game. You would very often see many of them in car selections for competitive racing events, and now you won't see any if nothing changes. In fact many people in the competitive community on pc have declared the game dead. It's absolutely impossible to host a high stakes event spanning over multiple races anymore. And this is not even counting the issues they created by blacklisting every single prop that regular players don't have access to. So many tracks on pc contain modded props that have now been replaced with blue barriers. Countless tracks are now unplayable and will need to be rebuilt from the ground up, if it's even possible to rebuild them. I'm just baffled by rockstar's decisions. Unsalvageable company. Awful dlc.

It's wild to think that I own most of the removed cars in GTA 5, all cleanly modded with Yankton plates. Back when the MOC to MOC GCTF glitch was popular, I used to mod cars for my TikTok supporters and trade extensively. I got back into GTA V again after a few years, and they removed all of these. A lot lf cars that released whilst i was away, i never even got to see before they were gone, so i keep seeing cool cars i cant even buy

What’s worse is the fact that this could have been done for a reason, but it wasn’t. A while ago, maybe 2 years ago or so, some of the community complained that the excessive amount of cars nobody buys is just extra stuff your computer has to render, so larger files, making the game unnecessary larger. When they removed some cars, I figured this was why, but I still have some of these in my garages, which means they weren’t completely removed from the game, and so they weren’t removed for the reason of clearing up space. Rockstar literally got rid of some of these super cool cars for no reason at all

I can understand them removing vehicles from the websites that you can steal off the street and store in your garage, but the ones where you can’t do that should always remain purchasable. It’s ridiculous what they’ve done.

I've never played Gta 5 online, only the 2013 version of Gta 5, even now, im shocked that they removed almost all of the fastest cars since the release, like Rapid Gt, Infernus, etc.

glad i owned most of these already. you don't see many people driving them but it's not an excuse to just get rid of them.

It's sad that instead of adding a search option they did this, but that's not even the worst. The absolute worst part about this is it's probably gonna be at the vinewood car club (atleast most of those vechicles) and it's only for GTA+ members and it's only for PS5, and the other bad thing is, they didn't even remove those from the game files, they're still in there so it didn't free any space up (I mean hard drive space)

I can foresee Rockstar re-adding cars to websites and showrooms for limited time events for massively inflated prices(For example the Vapid bullet used to be 155,000, they might put it on for 2.5 million) 🙄

i love how they removed the franken strange like it isn't an event vehicle. Of course it's going to be owned by a low percentage of people, it's only available one day out of the year.

Wow. There are some decent cars in here, from recent DLC too. Like, why have some Imani-tech and weaponised vehicles been removed from the store?

Rockstar must've been on some of them LD Organics for not removing a minivan, a fucking MINIVAN while removing some of the most well used cars to date

Some of these aren't that bad, because you can still find them roaming on the streets, but some have been deleted from the game perma, you can't find them anywhere

The worst part is some cars are now completely un-obtainable. For example; the Ford GT (Bullet) cannot be saved off of the road because it's counted as "high end". And now you can't buy it, either. You'd have to hopelessly wait for it to appear on the casino wheel or at a car dealership, but even then, I don't think Rockstar would ever put cars from 2013 on the podium.

They're going to have to reverse this decision. Even Brophy has told them they can't be doing this. Strangely though, I think I have like 80% of all the cars removed.

Good amount of Motorcycles were removed too, such as my most used bike: The Hakachou. I didn't use the Drag mainly because I like doing wheelies (as well as the obvious price difference) and the Hakachou could do wheelies that lasted so long, it was so fast before and after being fully modded. I'm sad no one will now get to experience why I prefer this bike over the Bati now.

Some of these I can understand, like the common ones you can find driving around the city. But removing this many baffles my mind. Who at Rockstar thought this was a good idea??

Predictions: They will either make these locked behind GTA plus membership to purchase again or they will reuse these vehicle models for GTA6. Honestly speaking I see them doing both.

This the same shit that they did with the adversary mode. All the modes that everyone played like Slasher, Overtime rumble, Sumo, all got removed by rockstar because they wanted to “get rid of the the unwanted/unplayed game modes”. Instead of actually getting rid of the unwanted ones, and some of them, they decided to get rid of more than 50% of them and keep the shit ones no one wants to play.
