Nice set dude!! As a middle aged tradesman here in the US, I love seeing younger people getting into the trades. I laugh when young folks come onto a job site asking for top rate and they don’t even have an impact or hand tools. I’m not judging anyone for not having something, but where I’m from, you’re kind of used as a flunky if you don’t have hand tools. I set aside money from every pay for something as simple as drill bits to a new power tool. I have duplicates of some, but when using day in and out, it doesn’t hurt. Again, great collection and enthusiasm. May 2023 be a safe and prosperous year for anyone reading this.

Retired a year ago last January and have all this and a lot more just sitting in my garage and spare room doing nothing, 3 sliding chopsaws, 2 cordless and the big 305mm blade corded one, cordless reciprocating saw , always considered it a dismantling and wrecking tool but it has proved itself very useful in all circumstances, cordless biscuit jointer, cordless sealant gun, another tool i thought i would hardly use but proved to be great, cordless metal shears, brilliant for metal stud cutting, 2 cordless impact drivers , 4 cordless drills , 2 corded powerful routers , a must for kitchen fitting , the cordless is ok for hinges and rounding over, but for cutting 40mm thick worktops with a corner jig a corded is essential, all Good quality dewalt

I’m not trying to be condescending by any means here mate, but you’ve mounted your table saw wrong on your rolling stand…. It needs turned 90 degrees counter clockwise. You’ll find it easier and safer as your adjusters and most importantly your emergency stop isn’t obstructed by the rubber feet. The legs that stick out longer are supposed to face the direction you push your material through your saw too so as to give more support from tipping over. As I say, not trolling you… I enjoy your videos as I’m a Dewalt loyal too and just recently found your videos. 👍🏻

Out of curiosity as a "carpenter in training" myself, how much did this all cost in total? That's a lot of tools, and none of them are cheap! That's one thing that's intimidating me a bit is how much it's all going to cost me to get kitted up to go out and do this job 😂

Interesting that the battery shows 18v in the UK but 20v here in the US. I guess the UK don't play with companies employing fake marketing tactics. In the US anything goes lol.
