Thank you for all videos. I have 2002 Avalanche, 2003 Escalade, 2005 Yukon 2500 and 2008 Express. I replaced 3 oil pressure sensors on my 2008 Express for past 6 month. Fist sensor was from Amazon. Sensor start leaking oil throw electric plug after 4 month. It is easy to replace oil sending sensor on Express. It will be challenged to replace this sensor on Avalanche (2002 Avalanche required use a special socket). I replaced wit Dorman sensor from Amazon ( I think that was knockoff) . Sensor stop working after a couple month. I went to dealer, purchased overpriced sensor. GM sensor works good, no complains so fare.

You like the trucks more than me haha. Never use the cheap sensors. I did the same thing and now I'm going to have to replace it with the Delphi sensor.

@@MattsShop GMT800- good trucks, affordable and easy to work on it. You need 2 jack stands, bottle jack and basic tools. and scanner. Only one problem- break lines. I had to replace lines on 2 Escalades. Newer donned this before. I replaced break lines on 1st Escalade. Its takes a 2 days. On the second Escalade - 1 day. Dorman makes a good stainless steel lines kit ($100-130). Thanks for your work.

Coming here from owning a 90k1500 Silverado. Recently bought a 03 6.0 Silverado to keep the miles off my 90 and now almost want to do the same to the 03 haha. Genuinely appreciate you and your videos to help me diagnose and find sny possible issues that may arise with my 03 and my dads 01 tahoe. Recently had a bad idle/stalling/sluggish takeoff issue so beforei found this video it ended up being just the MAF sensor, dirty air filter and dirty throttle body. Cleaned them up and runs absolutely amazing now. Will continue to follow up on your videos to these trucks to keep my in great shape❤️🤝🏼

That's not an engine sensor. 🤣 It does but there is no gauge on the 1500's it's monitored by the computer and you get a light on the dash.

Subscribed! Thanks for the good content. I got a 2004 Escalade with the 6.0 Vortec. It takes a while to start in the morning, but then it’ll start up normally if I decide to start it up again right away. If I let it sit for a few hours, then it’ll take a few cranks for it to crank over. I seen this video you made and you mentioned the Cam Shaft Position sensor will make it take long to crank over. Thing is, I’m getting codes for, ‘P0651’ & ‘P0452’ It’s driving me crazy. Sometimes the codes clear themselves out on their own and come right back. & yes I know one is a 5 volt reference code, and the other code is a Evap code for the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor. But I’m just wondering if It’s that simple as ohhh I need to replace the Fuel pressure sensor, & thats why possibly my truck is taking longer to start. I’m just wondering if that’s the right direction to look at. Basically what I’m saying is, would that sensor be causing that long cranking? Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks! Oh,, & I checked the wiring harness around the engine bay, everything looked well protected, I know there’s a spot on the side where the battery is, that the harness runs over the head of the engine that is prone to damage, and that looked fine, it’s on a plastic clamp sitting nicely not touching the motor. Sooo idk 🤷‍♂️ Any thoughts helps Thanks!

Hey Matt I have an 00 v6 sierra. I’m having a slight hesitation at start up when pressing gas pedal it’s very sluggish until I get past 5 mph than it takes off. When I press gas it almost feels like a misfire or exhaust is clogged I can floor it and it won’t go at all till it goes past 5-10 mph. I’ve gone thru 2 fuel pumps in last 6 yrs. Replaced fuel filters and oil service done every 3k and spark plugs regularly done also any suggestions?

I have a 07 Chevy Silverado and a lot of the fuses in the main fuse box under the hood is grounding to the motor some people say it supposed to and some people says it is not supposed to? So my question is any of the fuses supposed to ground in the main fuse box back to the motor?

Hello I have a massive problem with the cam shaft position sensor code p0342. I have already replaced it with the crankshaft and I still have a long crank start. I also ran the wire from the sensor directly pin to the computer and still same problem. Any idea on what it would be I what I could do?? Would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

I would look at the signal at the camshaft sensor with an oscilloscpe or at least a multimeter and make sure you have the voltage that's supposed to be there. You gotta get Delphi sensors.
