I notice with some of these that either the country steps up afterwards and consistently gets a top 10 or 5 position or they flop and never again go back to sending quality.

We all know it hurts that Croatia didn't win, like Finland didn't last year, but then again Sweden and Switzerland would have finished second. It is hard to accept, that only one contry can win Eurovision every year. So we lost many contries from winning dor the first time, but they will be our inofficial winners for ever! 🇭🇷😻

In 1998 Malta, despite coming 3rd, was also close to victory point-wise. Same for Russia in 2003.

Croatia still hurts my heart T-T... ALMOST....ALMOST WON..I will never able to recover from this shock, also the odds too shout out Croatia as a winner, because Rim Tim Tagi Dim was fan favourite..ugh... I hope next year my favourite will win, otherwise I will say my music taste is shit.. :(
