23:35 tbf 2022 British Grand Prix is Latifi’s other good race into contention (doesn’t matter if you put it as one of his worst because yes). Got Q3 for the first time (with luck) to qualify P10, jumped into 8th at the first start until the Russell-Zhou-Gasly crash, starts 8th on the restart, dropped to 10th at the start, got up as high as 8th when Alpha Tauris tangled, stayed there until the 2 Haas and Lance Stroll passed him due to better car, finishes 12th in front of Ricciardo and Tsunoda.

Charles Leclerc had a terrible 2021 French Grand Prix. Struggled with massive tire degradation to a 16th place of 20 finishers, beating only Raikkonen, Latifi,(both of whom were within 3 seconds) and the Haas cars. Considering Carlos finished 11th with similar struggles, in what was at worst the fourth best car of 2021, and utilizing a similar race strategy used by race winner Max Verstappen, seems fairly terrible for Charles.

Sainz had the same problem tho. Ferrari had awful tyre wear that race, but they poured through the data and sorted it out for the rest of the season

Little lucky with the safety car and Grosjean and Vettels Renaults blowing up i suppose, would have finished around 4th 5th otherwise. Main reason he was in 11th was becouse Ferrari sent him out on used tires. The Ferrari had pace for a top 6 on the grid Mega impressive drive eitherway but he has done much more impressive things

I'd argue Hamilton's worst race to be Monaco 2011. Qualified 9th while teammate Button was 2nd, caused Massa to crash in the tunnel, had a collision (not his fault, tbf) with Sutil, Alguersuari and Petrov which caused Petrov to be trapped in his car briefly bringing out a red flag. Then he had a collision with Maldonado (shocker). He got 2 penalties (a drive-through for the Massa incident, and a 20 second penalty for causing the Maldonado clash), then had those famous words after the race (he later apologised).

Hamilton qualified 9th due to the Red flag tho, he was the fastest man on track all weekend. He also made a spectacular overtake on schumi in that race and finished 6th in the end so i wouldnt say it was his worst race. His worst race that i can remmeber was Bahrain 2008 probably.

I'd argue that the 2015 Hungarian GP was also an option. According to Lewis, he did so terrible that race because the evening before he was invitied to see part of a film be produced & ended up getting 3 hours of sleep that night!

13:43 i’m surprised you didn’t mentioned Miami 2022 for one of Alonso’s worst races as he punted Gasly off in that race, indirectly caused two accidents, cut the chicane on purpose which resulted in a time penalty dropping him out of the points. 15:19 No mention of Austria 2019 as one of Gasly’s worst races? Got lapped by his teammate who won the race

For Yuki Tsunoda: the 2021 Austrian GP. Got a penalty for crossing the pit entry line... twice... on a track they drove the previous weekend.

Just wanted to say about Daniel's 2022 British GP. He got an amazing start getting past Bottas and Tsunoda before the turn one incident, but had to give the positions back cause FIA tax, had two 4+ second pitstops, had DRS stuck open so had to pit to fix it, but then couldn't use it for the rest of the race and got stuck behind a Williams which is the fastest car on straights. You said he did nothing, but there wasn't much he could do.

Another dishonorable mention for Checo could be the 2015 Australian GP. Multiple spins and penalties and finished P10 out of 11 cars. The only person behind him was Jenson Button in a McLaren Honda...

Russia 2021 is not even a honorable mention for Max tbf, he was stuck in 7-8 position behind alonso almost all race, he got lucky in the pit stops and could save points. For honorable mentions i would have chosen Brazil 2019 or Austria 2021 Not fair to say that one of Bottas worst races was the 2020 italian gp, where he suffered with overheating and had to avoid entering in normal racing line, plus other problems in the car. Also you overlooked the 2017 azerbaijan gp, where he was dead last in the first laps and could climb up again to 2 Not even honorable mention valencia 2012 for Fernando? Or fuji 2008? Latifi made by far his best race of his carreer in Silverstone 2022… q3 without upgrades, excelent start, was in the top 10 almost until the sc, even managed to pull an undercut and actually defended his position against faster cars in new softs. You seem a little biased against the mercedes tbf but it is not important, just a detail

Yeh, tbh its fun to talk about these lists, but the bias is way too big and the jokes are overdone at this point. Like, the "Bottas hate" cow is so milked at this point not even Rockstar would extract a new online dlc out of it. He was the best driver Mercedes couldve gotten at the time that would not be taking points away from Hamilton, a lesson learned from the Ham/Alonso McLaren days. And he did just that, solidifying a 7th times champ.

New honorable mention for Checo would be Singapore 2022, wasn't as spectacular as the last to first challenge he made in Sakhir 2020 but still, missed out on pole by a lil fraction, and then took the lead in turn 1 and never let go of it

2015 singapore GP deserves a mention for one of the best races for max, he started 2 laps down and climbed his way to P8 in a toro rosso that also in his rookie season

I know you just listed all of 2022 for Latifi's bad races for the bit, but I'd also throw forwards Turkey and Hungary 2020. In Turkey he qualified last by 9(!) seconds after binning it on his last run, then was 2 laps down halfway through the race when only three people had been lapped at all. In Hungary he somehow managed to finish FIVE laps down, when no one else was more than one lap down.

Enjoy the detailed analysis mixed with a more relaxed style. For Hamilton I was a bit surprised the 2007 Chinese Grand Prix didn't get a look in, where Lewis could have won the title in his first season but beached himself on the pit entry going too fast in the wet. This channel is going to be big very soon I reckon.

For Valteri you could have also used the 2021 Italian Grand Prix as his best because Pole the Wins the Sprint then gets dropped by a engine plenty to last then finishes 3rd a few seconds of the lead.

I'd mention the 2020 Eifel GP as the worst race for Albon. Started 5th, had a horrible start, had to pit to repair something, and collided with Kvyat fighting outside of the points, causing him to say "They race me so hard", and after that, he retires from the race.

another honorable mention for albon is germany 2019. fighting against better cars for the top spots, running as high as 4th and only lost out to kvyat because he was pitted earlier when he was far behind. albon finished 6th in the end and got the team even more valuable points

I think one of Albons worst was the 2020 Eifel GP. Fighting the drivers in the Red Bull b-team while shoving his middle finger to Kvyat's front wing and then retired after his engine lost the will to live.

Great content. Tho it seems you have overlooked Sainz's 2020 Italian GP. Qualified 3rd and comfortably run 2nd untill the safty car and then the red flag. Pulled off a great comeback to 2nd only behind Gasly, after Sir Lewis decided that closed pitlane doesn't mean anything to him during SC. I wouldn't have put it as his best race, but it definilty deserves a honorable mention.

Hold on about Bottas. Monza 2020 he had a cooling issue essentially not enabling him to slip stream cars in order to get enough cool air into the car. But otherwise yes, that Silverstone 2014 Valtteri was in James‘ pocket for those four years

Another honorable mention for Vettel's best race is definitely his Baku 2021... P2 with an Aston starting from P11 and was at one point leading the race and lapping just 1 or 2 tenths slower than the vastly faster Mercs and Red Bulls. Monaco 2008 starting 16th and finishing in P4... with a Toro Rosso... Vettel's highs are really hard to surpass, but when he bottles it, he bottles it hard as well. His worst race was definitely Monza 2019... From pretty much any perspective. Spins on his own trying to catch up to the Mercs, after the spin goes into the track like a rookie and crashes against Stroll, which damages his wing and forces him to the pit for repairs, and after exiting the pits, he gets a 10 second stop-go penalty, pretty much killing his race and hopes for any points and getting lapped by his teammate who won the race... Not just any race, but Ferrari's home race in Monza and Ferrari's first win of 2019... That was definitely his worst race for sure.

I'd like to mention more best Alonso races: 2012 Valencia, 2011 Britain, Nurburgring 2007, Bahrain 2006, Hungary 2014 and Singapore 2010 ( Grand Slam and hold Vettel's charge.

But remember that Bottas used that old Hard set for almost the whole race (maybe half of the race) in Sakhir 'cause of that Mercedes pit stop circus so that is why George went past of Bottas a couple of times (and yeah I do remember Georges tyre problems and his good start)

For Hamiltons worst race I would probably go for the 2015 Hunagrian grand prix. Mistake at the start trying to overtake Rosberg to regain the lead, then another mistake later on colliding with Ricciardo then came home 6th. Got lucky to finish ahead of Rosberg because Rosberg also got in an incident with Ricciardo but suffered a larger penalty with a puncture.

Him making the mistake trying to overtake Rosberg was for 3rd actually as both Ferrari’s got ahead of both Merc’s at the start of that race. But yes, I completely forgot how bad he was in this GP as well tbh.
