I love your approach to EDC videos! everything really blends form and function, without anything too excessive. Not that there's anything wrong with being a little extra sometimes! I find your vids to be a breath of fresh air.

Another solid video Josh!! Just ordered the Vala Alta handkerchiefs as well. I carry a mighty hank, but more for the micro fiber to clean glasses/iphone/etc. This will be a welcome addition. The Nano bag is awesome. I have one (and picked some up for my daughter when she's out shopping too). They come in handy and I often forget I even have it on me when not in use.

Josh, I just found your channel. First, I love your background, especially the lights! Second, I am liking the handkerchief idea. Haven't had handkerchiefs in the last 15 years or so. My daughter has always thought them to be gross, so she stopped buying them for me at Christmas. But these new one's sound pretty good. Thanks so much for a great video. I need to add one of those nano bags to my own EDC. It seems like I'm always scrounging for used plastic grocery bags, so this would be a great addition.

I have the Venture Sling in the 6L volume too, my main complaint also being the organization, though not for it's layout but for it's general usability. With most of the pockets being fixed in size with no stretch, it's hard to use them effectively in my opinion, particularly the main compartment; likewise the front pocket is also pretty shallow in terms of height, which makes it difficult to use - chewed up one of the cinches on my own nanobag and took me 20 minutes to pull out of the zipper as a result. I also dislike how the bag never truly "closes," you can readily access the main compartment through the side. And I was always confused as to why they went with the plastic/metal composite strap buckle instead of the magnetic ones on their other slings. I opted to give up the clever floating sunglasses pocket (easily a major selling feature) and the nice blue colorway for an Alpaka Go Sling Mini in black VX21. The slightly smaller volume, more functional organization pockets, and fully detachable key lanyard seem better suited to using the sling as your daily driver/daytrip companion. Both bags could use a proper pen retention loop somewhere though...the Bellroy has that slot that seems only sized for a space pen, and the Alpaka outright lacks it.

I love my distil union key fold, but I've incorporated too many magnets in my daily carry. That unique snap-closure key stack looks like something I need, but I'll wait for the in depth video

Hey @Josh are you sure the Sling is the Ecopak version? In theory the strap has elasticity and no clips to detach it. On the other hand the fabric seem the regular one from Bellroy. I’m curious because I would like to get the Ecopak one but I’m not sure about the strap and the lack of clips to detach. Thanks in advance and congrats for your videos, love the rythim and the tone.

I don't think your sling is the Ecopak version unless I am mistaken. To my knowledge, all Ecopak versions have a bungee stap and no quick release. Either way, great setup!

I think most of the issue with James Brand is the price. I have a couple and they are well made but I find comparable knives are about 25% less. However, if you wait they run the, on sale. That’s how I got mine.

Having an ultrathin shopping bag is always so good. Tho partially I do wish a few more of my shirts had epilets

It may be a jump for you financially, but I would really recommend the Vero engineering knives, the fit and finish of them is top notch. I'm a lefty and they actually have knives that are made specifically for lefties.
