I had a cat who would meow just like this every time he brought me a special gift. In his case, though, the gift was *always* the same thing: his ratty old mouse toy. He kept doing this though is geriatric years until he passed at 21. It's six years later, and I still have that mouse toy. I'm going to keep it forever.

I’m sooo glad they didn’t give up on her. Before I was in school full time I worked at a shelter, and people used to drop off & abandon their pets for the stupidest, pettiest reasons. Some people just don’t deserve to have pets. They’re not just “fixtures” in the house, they’re living breathing beings with feelings just like you & I.

She’s showing she’s trying to take care of you. Gifts are their way to help you. And that they love you.

Alot of people think feral kittens are abandoned ..most times the mama is out hunting for hours.. it's not until the kittens are 6-8 weeks when they start wondering off from the nesting site

Oh, my! What an eye-opener! I have a kitty I adopted who was feral. Misu loves water! I wonder if she was born near it as our community has many creeks throughout. I can't turn on a faucet without her coming running. She bites and scratches, too! I have adapted to it, as well. She also brings me gifts! Her meowing when she brings the gifts is beautiful, loud and sing-songy, akin to an opera! She is particularly fond of bringing live butterflies, so, I keep her in now. I'm looking to build a catio for her.

My Black n White loves being a indoor outdoor cat, she likes bringing anything she catches home to show me, meowing her head off. I praise her ,call her "Clever girl" then go put the dead mouse / rat / bird / lizard etc in the bin. Lately she eats the birds she catches "..raw and wriggling .." to avoid it being binned. LOL ..

The way she stiff-legged her way home with her bounty was especially entertaining! I just finished my radiation and chemo, and I can attest to the importance of having feline love during the pain, which is constant. ❤❤❤

Unlike some humans, mother cats DO NOT "abandon" their kittens!...something horrible happened to her that caused her to be unable to return to take care of them...probably was out hunting in order to feed them. Thank you for being so loving and loyal to her, as she has been with you; bless you.

Tuxedo cats are great to live with as they are intuitive, intelligent and give people much love and support.

I’m glad the community has accepted her as their special kitty. Her meow reminds me of my old kitty I had. I hope your health is ok, and I’m so sorry you are having to deal with that. It’s rough but I’m gain you have her to comfort you. They know instinctively when your health is bad. And they can smell your normal scent has changed and recognize the fact you have cancer because there is a smell animals pick up on that we can’t. And they know when you are gonna have an asthma attack, heart attack etc. any thing where you are not doing good. We had this lady in our true crime chat and she feel and then found out she had cancer, and she passed away very quickly after her diagnosis. And they said she had the type of gyn related cancer that is a silent killer. So animals are wonderful in smelling, feeling our electrical flow is off and just knowing you aren’t well. I think after hearing about our true crime friend all animals that are known to be able to smell or pick up disease should be highly desired. Then if your dr misses something or blows you off the pet knows. And of course they know when a seizure or asthma attack is happening and can warn you and others, and do many warnings with sickness. They will often burrow in an area and stick their nose in a place where they smell it. And man cancer patients or heart attack get a waning from their cat or dog dr.
