In this video I install a set of stainless steel pedal covers on my E90 BMW.
I install them on my 2008 BMW 335i. I install the manual set which includes a foot rest, clutch cover, brake cover and accelerator pedal cover.
They really modernize the look of any E9X car. I was inspired by the pedals that come from the factory in my 2020 G20 M340i.

Yes you hit the nail on the head, e90 is aging and it’s getting harder to find mods and upgrades for the car, thanks for hunting them down for us! Anytime a person can find a cheap mod and modify it to make it work well is a win win for any E90 lover, thanks for continuing To make content on this dinosaur

You can always drill out those holes through the pedal. So there's no way they will come off. I did that on a set that didn't fit as securely as I would have liked.

I bought this pedal kit for my e92 335i m sport back in 2016, hands down the best cosmetic/comfort mod I done to the car.

Great stuff, bought a kit here in Europe and they fit nice and was grippy :) Nice to not have to drill the pedals for the more common type metal covers.

Nice 👍 thanks for reminding me to try this out. You should def get one of those Clutch Stops. I put them on waaay back on my e92, and never had any problems for years. It limits the clutch travel right around the friction zone sweet spot, made it pretty smooth to ride while wearing slides lol Best $10 ever spent haha

I tried a similar kit from aliexpress and the rubber was too thick on my gas pedal and it stopped me from getting WOT. I have heard that this can be an issue so your mileage may vary... I installed a factory bmw e90 kit (#35002232278 Auto) on my e90 automatic that required drilling but worked great. The factory kit is nicer because the brake pedal has a larger rubber guard piece like the original so your foot can't get stuck behind it. I did use the replica dead pedal from a G30 replica kit and trimmed it to fit with no overlap and drilled it for stainless torx screws add to the look and more securely hold it down. The G30 is an even closer match to the e90 than the one in the video but I did still trim it down on the outside to make it perfectly flush. Info is on e90post. I later trimmed down the aftermarket gas pedal so that it is flush with the factory pedal (it is no longe held in place by the rubber overlap). I took out the original screws and added torx screws and drilled it like the factory one and added double sided tape to the back side and installed it on my E70 X5. Note that the holes are in slightly different places than the real BMW pedal covers so more drilling would be needed if you went with the real ones later. -Rich

I was about to get this until I saw the shippers location on eBay .It said China unfortunately Amazon does not have the foot rest in stock. Amazon is also cheaper .

Let me rephrase, too bad the e90 is old and you can't find new upgrades for it. Hence the jury rig. Not sure too many people would click on that title.

I hear you but I wouldn't make a video that I felt could make the car unsafe. The oem cover for the clutch comes off pretty easily and the replacement is on more secure. The brake pedal cover would be harder to remove than stock now that its double side taped. If I was just looking to make a quick video for some views I could toss em on and not say much about fitment but I want to give you guys all the info.

I looked for a while and the ones that are a direct dit looked pretty old school to me. If you have any suggestions link them and maybe someone looking for a direct fit will want em.
