My daughter has chickens 🐔. She’s obsessed with them. For Christmas she brought me a whole lot of eggs. They were really good but now I’m laughing because I thought me and my husband had about two weeks to eat all of those eggs before they went bad 😂😂. We had egg omelets, eggs salad, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, boiled eggs etc. I don’t like to waste stuff. I told my daughter to never bring me that many eggs again. I had no idea we had two months 😂😂😂.

Eggs last quite a while, but if in doubt, do the egg freshness test. Fill up a bowl or glass or container with cool water. The container has to be deep enough to fully submerge the egg. Drop the egg into the container of water. If it sinks to the bottom and lays on its side horizontally, it's fresh. If the egg sinks but stands on one end vertically, it's a couple weeks old and still okay to eat, although it should be eaten soon. If the egg floats to the top, it's no good. Throw it away!! Hope this helps 😊.

21 days in the UK & and all our eggs are date-stamped(individually) .... and they're not refrigerated in the stores(we don't chemically wash ours) . I eat way too many eggs (or so I thought 😅) .
