I just realized, the Empire Boys make up the classic rpg party: a heavy armor front line fighter, an archer, a wizard, and a cleric.

I really like your work but I wished you would have also considered their unique skills and buffs from the skill tree for your ranking. I personally feel like Franz has one of the most underwhelming unique trees in the game and that Gelt (super cheap spells and artillery buffs) and Wulfhart (boosts huntsman to impressive levels especially useful against skaven and lizardmen plentiful large units). Agree with you on Volkmar and the starting positions. Personally would have ranked them 4. Volkmar 3. Wulfhart 2. Franz 1.Gelt. Still great video and hope you do more of these.

honestly, gelt as a lord is one of the best casters he can spam his spells for basically free. if you kill snikch hes just a stealth bomber

Flagelents are pretty great in his army.

I have to say flagellants have become one of my favorite single army units. I put them in an army with an arch lector and warrior priests… maybe I should consider two warrior priests. But mixing them with luminarks. Blazing sun, and free company or some other skirmish type unit has proven very very effective. I use them against beast hordes and vampires because you just need units that won’t break against the un breakable trash thrown at you. Freaking skeletons

You're using volkmar's flagellants wrong bro. They're a tarpit unit. Take 10 of them and 9 artillery pieces (especially sootson's guns) and melt literally everyone

I didnt care much for volkmar in wh2, but hes one of my favorites in 3. Buffs flagellents like mad and pretty much makes FCM into handgunners that can defend themselves( minus the range). Hes also a beast on his pope mobile

I actually run a flavour-stack on Volkmar: Carroburgh greatswords (unbreakable GS unit) Flagellants Knights of the Blazing Sun And then Warrior Priest + wizard if Light or Life. And Sunmaker or some other artillery.

The first game factions need the love. Empire is the most played faction and only has 4 LL

wtf Geld is way stronger than Karl. In campain or in battle. One of the best spellcaster. And Karl? Just avrerage melee lord.
