I never usually comment on videos but I seriously can't thank you enough for this. I struggle with all the same things & I have so much respect for you putting this out there and talking about it when people rarely do on social media bc all we see and partake in posted of recaps from a semester or phase of life is all the happy times and there is never any transparency in the hard times too. I've also had to push assignments back for my mental health and felt so guilty and embarrassed for my past self doing that even though I know it is necessary and healthy so here's to continuing to recognize growth in prioritizing our mental health

Hang in there Matt. I struggled at the end of high school and although it took time, patience and hard work am now doing my PhD, have just got my first article accepted for publication with the Bulletin of History of Medicine, won awards and scholarships - never give up. You have a good support network who are all there for you and very proud. You'll get through this - just take one day at a time and don't forget talking always helps because you are not on your own.

I love to see the vulnerability, especially coming from a college student that posts motivational content. I have always loved videos for what they are but videos like these show me that having a bad day or semester is normal. Being in the public eye is such a big role to fill but you showing yourself in this way showed me how I can change myself this upcoming semester. Thanks Matt Trav for all the videos

OMG for a second i thought you'r quitting youtube. that would be an epic fail cause i've just found your channel and subscribed to it. i'm so glad you keep on going. also i would like to remind that we only have problems we choose. every problem is just a challenge on the way to a chosen goal which is a result we wanna get. so every problem is optional. keeping this in mind really helps me to save my mental health and to stay chill.
