Today I’ll be sharing every Essence mascara with you! I’ve tested all 23 Essence mascaras and I’ll be sharing demos of each of them as well as a few key points on the formulas and wear! This is the third (and most highly requested) mascara comparison video in this series! I wanted to share every mascara that Essence has to offer so you can compare them to one another and decide which ones you’d like to try - or stay away from! Details:
🟣 This video was filmed over 23 days, so each mascara had its own full day wear test!
🟣 Each mascara is brand new and was opened the same day that I wore it. The stats I’m sharing are based on fresh formulas! (as mentioned in the video there were no safety seals on any of these, so it’s hard to say if all of the formulas are in fact fresh)
🟣 Every mascara is an original formula unless otherwise stated
🟣 I applied two coats of each mascara to my upper lashes, and one coat to my lower lashes.
🟣 These are all the Essence mascaras available to me in the US
🟣 I use BabeLash eyelash serum to help grow my lashes - I highly recommend it!

Thank you Tiffany for this review :) I've been a fan of the Essence mascara's for about 5 years now. I was surprised too that these mascara's don't have any protective seals on the tube. When I'm looking for another mascara the sure way to tell if the mascara hasn't been opened is, gently pull the wand out of the tube... if you notice it doesn't open quickly and there is a slight pull to the wand this is how I know that the mascara hasn't been opened. I hope eventually Essence will put a seal on the mascara's or at least in a sealed package.

I love how you format these videos! would love to see a comparison of the ulta brand mascaras! they're rated very highly but there aren't many reviews here on youtube, it's hard to decide which one to try out!

@@TiffanyUthe The Mascaras are better than the maybelline ones, why spending more money on mybelline if you can get a better mascara for a bargain?And the same as Loreal :). Lash princess in green and orange looked the best on you! No wonders because those are very hyped. Got the green one myself as well as the maybelline lash sensational (which you rated as a top) but can´t compared to lash princess because Zero Volume.. makes thin looking eye lashes. I´m just confused that you don´t like the Princess ones (not a top one in your reccomendations). I understand your point with waterproof, its the same to me, but the lash princess waterproof should be even better than theire non waterproof formulas when it comes to volume. I´m a bit sad you didn´t include this one. Also would have liked to hear, if this one is also hard to get off. But all non waterproof formulas tend to stamp on my eyelid, which looks weird, so i consider getting the lash princess waterproof next (blue one). But if you buy this one and test it, let me know please!!! Only missed an end picture with all the 15/ or 27 outcomes at one glimpse, this would have helped to compare :-).But grreat job!

Living in Oz I used to be crazy about essence mascaras as they were the most budget friendly. However since Chemist Warehouse here stocks Flower Beauty mascaras for super cheap and other brands often are at half price, I don't gravitate to Essence that much. Flower Beauty Warrior Princess is awesome!

This was fantastic. I'm glad you made your comment that so many seemed the same, I was considering asking you if you thought there were genuinely 23 different formulas lol. Interesting to see none of the Lash Princesses made it into your top picks! I've tried the green one but don't like the brush size. Keen to try your favourite, it's available in Australia where I live (but currently out of stock). Once you're done with your brand reviews, I'd love to hear your thoughts on how your favourites from the brands compare and which you would keep using and/or repurchase 😀

Thanks, Erin! 💕 A lot of people rave about the Lash Princess mascaras so I was excited to try them. The green one (false lash effect) was my favorite of the three and I did really like the effect on my lashes, but unfortunately it smudged on me so I didn't count it as a top pick 😩And thank you for the suggestion! A few other people have requested the same thing so once I finish up Covergirl I will plan do a recap of all the best ones!!

@@TiffanyUthe you mentioned cleaning up mascara especially with the larger brushes - I'd love to see some tips and tricks on that (especially trying to salvage over-clumpy messes or getting goopy wet formulas all over one's waterline....)

You know what these mascaras would be good for. They're like really cheap, so you buy them and save the wands and then you have a collection of different types of wands.

for me the high beauty mascara looks really nice on my lashes when i first put it on, but it flakes throughout the day. so i’ll wear it if i won’t be out of the house for long, for a quick selfie, or if im just playing around and doing makeup in my room for fun. but i would definitely want to use a different mascara if i know i’ll be busy throughout the day as i don’t want those black spends under my eyes…

I’ve tried the what the fake, bye bye panda eyes, purple lash princess sculpted volume, get big lashes volume boost, and the purple volume stylist 18 hour. I like what the fake best so far tied with the 18 hour volume stylist (your number 1), however ALL of them smudge in my outer corner. Any advice? :)

Ugh that’s always frustrating! Do you set your eyes with powder or shadow? If not, it’s possible that any skincare products or just the oil on you skin is breaking the product down as your lashes touch your skin throughout the day causing the smudging. If that doesn’t help it’s likely just the fault of the product. I haven’t found too many tricks to help prevent smudging 😔

What a great video. Most of the essence mascara are not very special. Do you now if people with contact lenses van use the essence mascara as well? I see that there are tested voor the eyes but i can’t found anything if it’s save to wear if you wear contact lensen.

Thank you!! I’m not sure about contacts, although I don’t see any warnings stating not to wear the mascaras with contacts. I also wore contacts with a few of these and didn’t have any issues!

I was really surprised to hear that none of the mascaras were sealed. If I buy from the store they are usually in blister packs, almost always with the brush out of the tube, a “stopper” of sorts in the tube, & the brush beside the tube clean. I love MANEATER mascara from TARTE. It is my fav. This was a very I formative video, thank you! 👻🍍

Essence needs to at least put a shrink seal on their products. The waterproof lash princess smudged on me as well as the No More Panda Eyes infact gave me big panda eyes. For me all of these were also too dry.

My unpopular opinion....I have detested every essence mascara that I have tried, they were wet, dried stiff, were uncomfortable, and smudgy. Thank you for your great review! Have you done a Revlon or Rimmel review? I don't like huge brushes, it's too much product and less precise, and I am neverrrrrr buying another essence mascara.
