I have the concept art as well, I wonder what that meant, I thought it was implying he was the one who made/created the monitors, but I am not sure. Do you have any theories of what could that meant?

@@paperbagboi3185 Well, that question ain't addressed to me, but yes it does imply that Mono created the monitors and used these monitors and created the transmission, also it shows The Signal Tower construction which may show him being the one who made it, people say The Eye Creature is the one in control, when in fact Mono created its existence accidentally, how? The Thin Man aka Mono used the monitors he supposedly created and then made the transmission which absorbed people's essence as shown in the concept art it created a goo of meat which then formed into The Eye Creature, The creature had the urge to kill Mono as well. The Thin Man aka Mono isn't trapped in that room, which is confirmed by the glitched children around the city and the woods and Episode 2 of the digital LN2 comics. The concept art also shows Mono/The Thin Man interrogating a child while sitting and talking to the child, possibly Mono asking the child if they saw a girl that fits the description he gave. To add, The Thin Man was extremely persistent to complete his goal which also matches Mono's personality who never gives up further proving they're the same, which even the studio confirmed they are the same and said The Signal Tower was created for the purpose of the transmission, so it kinda goes around with Mono creating the tower and being the one behind everything, which also to add the kid we see sitting on a chair may be The Thin Man when he was a child or the former Mono.

Oddly, his face is relatively normal. I think this ties back into just how powerful he is compared to everyone else. Normal people quickly mutate into monsters under its direct influence, while those exposed to its signal via TVs are steadily consumed, and indirect exposure through its signal will cause mutations over time. Mono, by contrast sits in its heart and merely ages steadily, which is a testament to just how innately powerful he is. Six, by contrast is an ordinary mortal, at least for now.

About the part where Six being distorted in just a day. We all know that time is broken in the Pale City so the same effect could be a lot stronger in the tower (even space itself is broken in the tower) so Six could been trapped there for far longer or shorter than a day but that is just my thoughts.

Actually, if you look up his official model (with good lighting) he has normal eyes (normal as in you can see the whites of his eyes) they look black because of the game's lighting (such as this one, we're looking at his model in-game, that's why his eyes are black). All the children are drawn with those black lifeless eyes in the concept arts even from way back in the first game, it's probably just a design choice by the artists.

Even in direct lighting, his eyes seem mostly black. I think the developers did a few things to make Mono look different. They made his pupils unusually big. Obviously that will give his eyes a lot of black space. And it’s also possible that they turned down the reflectivity of his eyes. This way, even if light hit his sclera in the game, his eyes would still look incredibly dark. It’s something that’s noticeable only in the video game rendering. So in the game, it would look as if his eyes were entirely black. But in the game files, his model used standard eyes with a darker shader on them; this darker shader made his eyes look darker than they really are in the game rendering. His eyes definitely become even darker as he grows into Thin Man. And we also see that he’s the only character drawn with black eyes in the official art book. While the other kids have small eyes, you can usually see the white from a farther distance than Mono’s. Perhaps It’s a simple stylistic choice. While his model is normal, they designed it in a way where it wouldn’t look normal while the game is playing. Which is a cool way to make Mono seem unique.

@@renemartinez3451 I looked up the models again from both the first and second game, and it seems that all the children have the same shading in their eyes as Mono's (though I agree with Mono having bigger pupils than the others) and if you take a look at Six's model in-game with the free camera mod (especially when she's still in her greyish blue coat, so you can see her face better) her eyes look pitch black too, so it's safe to say that it's just the game lighting messing with their eyes. You could also look at the first game's DLC concept art where there are 5 children (some of them are reused for the second game) they all have pitch black eyes, the same with the second game's concept art where the comic children are shown, they all have black eyes too. So yeah, I think for the concept arts, it's just a design choice, and for the actual in game stuff, it's just the lighting (I love your idea of Mono having unique eyes though)

Was viewing the models actually and while all the kids gave those shaded eyes, Mono's do seem darker and look less like a normal eye that's shaded and more like his eyes are actually black. When he's sitting in the chair those, his eyes are actually blue and gave color.

He was just in there for decades, since we can hear a clock ticking sound effect, which tells us in a literary way that time is really going on by, and unlike everyone else he just grows up to look like an old man. Even then many believe The Thin Man/Mono is trapped inside The Tower, but this isn't the case since The Thin Man is responsible for the Glitched Remains that are from The Woods to The Hospital, we also see drawings of him in The Woods, as if he's stalking and just drawings of him in general, but with no face, and in the digital comics episode 2, The Thin Man climbs out of a TV and captures a child. Some theorize Mono/The Thin Man as the ability to travel in time to the past and future. The Flesh Walls or The Eye Monster as most people call it, is actually just the manifestation of the essence absorbed from The Viewers of this world, as shown by the concept art, which I've heard was cut because of the rating. We see that The Thin Man emits The Transmission wherever he goes, he slows down time without effort, he can warp-reality to a degree, move entire buildings with his presence and even shape them to his comfort. The concept art also showed The Signal Tower constructing as Mono gets older and older, showing he's got something to do with The Tower being there, it also showed a bunch of TV's behind him as well and as he gets older he starts getting unhinged and starts getting insane, many believe it's due to The Signal Tower, but this is isn't true considering Mono became this way because of the horrible tragedy of getting betrayed by Six, with nobody there to comfort him, the pain changed him into the person that would corrupt the world and hurt many.

@@simpostor6576 Good point BUT look it from my perspective. Thin Man had no reasons to capture other kids, he's been locked up until Mono came, after that his sole purpose was to save Mono. If he was a kid killer, he would've killed six right away or caught mono easily, but he didn't. Why? My guess is because he never held a grudge against six. And he didn't want to hurt mono, he wanted to stop mono. You can tell because he always walked when chasing him and always grabbed him. For six he turned her into a monster, I can explain that if you want. And what makes me think he didn't turn those kids into shadows was because he wasn't there, not just because he was locked up, it's because there weren't Tv's there. So if he WAS free, he's still not able to get where a TV isn't, which is where the shadow kids can be at.
