Its crazy you dont understand they werent promoting a brand but the brand was promoting them. Is it a coincidence when faze started to die down and lose hype that so many of these "long time faze members" channels also totally died? the Kitty dude has 6 vids over 1mil views... thats absolutely nothing to faze and not helping them at all. He was paid in exposure and wouldnt have nearly those numbers without FaZe in his name. The real problem is they got too big to the point where most fans from the NY era didnt even know 90% of the people in faze and the ones they knew/were fans of had stopped making content

It’s nonsensical to take the position that these creators offered no value to Faze. If that’s the case, why would Faze sign them? Successful creators don’t need orgs, successful orgs need creators. @@DaytonaMaverick I fully agree, most orders especially faze has been completely in the dumps for years and has made millions from their ventures that they payed out to their creators via shares. absolutely scummy work on the companies end & it frustrates me to see these creators look at it with such rose tinted glasses. sure it's okay to be nostalgic over the relationships that were fostered but I'd expect these fully grown adults to think more critically about how they were treated. Banks is also just a fucking corny scumbag haha

So exposure means sponsorship, and streams from an organization that is massive. It’s the same way runway models do not get paid anything at all, and most of the time do it for free because they know they can get free exposure just by showing their face and possibly get to sign big contracts with gucci, L’Oréal, Versace, and many more

To be honest this is embarrassing to watch this is real life and sometimes people have to be let go and sometimes people have to be replaced and some people aren't performing as they are needed to perform or an even better reason that Faze needs to Rebrand themselves because the way they establish themselves was pure chaos. I could be seen as harsh for expecting them to be professional but the thing is the amount of fun they were having compared to the amount of work they were putting into to build themselves up individually as a bigger brand wasn't there. If they had true fans of their own they wouldnt be getting 20k or less views on all their uploads now. People are acting like these low level unknown creators were benefiting faze in anyway when in reality they owe their success to faze which is why even though most werent paid they were still very thankful for the opportunity

They could easily make montages each week and give the old fans what they wanted while at the same time have vlogs with streamers. It's equal, a clear example is FaZe Spratt dude was committed to making FaZe what it was and after being ignored and wasted by the higher ups he decided to leave and never come back. I get how times change and maybe streamers are the way to go but the cmmunity that wants gameplay is still insanely huge.

Most of these faze guys who were kicked have channels exactly like his, same shitty thumbnails, same shitty click bait that doesn't work going back years. They haven't changed or improved their content in forever, just cookie cutter post the same shit repeatedly until they dwindled down to no viewers. Is there any creator who left faze and became more successful after? The dozens of unheard of faze members were just riding the wave of hype made by the original NY house creators like Rain, Adapt, Apex and then the early success in LA with Banks having that vlog mansion. The real problem is every single one of the faze members who built the success and gained the fans completely quit

I don't know anything about the guy, but you asked how we liked the video. I would've been fine not seeing Jev's piece AT ALL; didn’t like his attitude about it! He may be sad about who all were cut, but for Jev to basically gloat about being kept on a team that he has no contact with or interest in doing content for felt really stuck-up/messed up/disrespectful to the ones who were kicked and put their hearts and souls into FaZe! Since Jev outwardly feels that way about his lack of contributions with FaZe, remove Jev from the roster and put Kalei back on, who was almost brought to tears moments after she found out she was kicked. Put Blaze back on, Scissors, Kitty, Nio, or basically anyone else since Jev seems to care so little about still being part of FaZe.

Notice how most people who got kicked are on no-income contracts, and those who stayed are getting paid. It does not surprise me that they kicked most people who just had the name. It's bc they were not under a paid contract. Learn business, guys.

There is absolutely nothing whatsoever unfortunate about this. Faze have finally began to wise up. They are actually beginning to listen to the true gamers of the gaming community and they are beginning to wise up. Huge shift in the overall community happening in front of our very eyes. Edit: her quote of "top warzone streamer" is also a bear faced lie. Her name is nowhere near the top from 2020-2023. Sponsors can't trust her.
