@PaulieCabs have you tried spraying some silicon spray into the mechanism where the belt retracts into? Use a little, and gently pull out the belt a few centimeters at a time, repeat until it starts to work. Worked for me, I think the mechanism just dried out over the years and needed lubrication 👍

Hi yes, still have it. Will be making more videos again very soon. They are still quite reasonably priced but it's getting harder to pass the emissions test each year. Can't apply for historic status on mine until it's 30 years old which would get around that.

@@pauliecabs Ah happy you still have it! It's a little easier here in Italy. Historic status is after 20 years. I have an Alfa Brera now but that is staying for sure. If I do get one be sure to drive down in yours. I'm in north Italy, 30 mins from Turin. Look forward to your new videos!

It's an interesting upgrade. I recently saw the kit for doing the remote control but that was just for the doors. It might do for a future episode!
