Fun fact: The Wildstreak default used to be called Wildcat. But I believe with the new Nintendo Switch skin called Wildcat, they had to chamge her name.

“Wildstreak” was originally named “Wildcat” btw. It was changed for obvious reasons (that switch exclusive that was release shared the same name)

The reason why the s2 skins were in s1 is because when season 2 started it was called 1.11

I would say true for Raptor. He was introduced in season 1 by one of blog post epic made back then. Memory is bit fuzzy but I’ve a wiki source telling red knight were able to be purchased a few days before season 2 but she weren’t available till a day later on season 2 as like pre-order however, i wouldn’t take this as a fact.

Thanks, ITalk, for posting this blast from the past. I missed Season 0, 1, 2 and 3, didn't start playing until Chapter 1, Season 4, so this was a little Fortnite history lesson for me. I personally really like Survival Specialist and am waiting for her to come back into the shop, but with the throwback skins out now, I doubt I'll see her for awhile. I could kick myself for not getting her last time she was in the shop, just like I could kick myself for not grabbing Commando from the shop night before last.

fortnite really knows how to rip away memories and nostalgia. The reason these og defaults were special is because we didn't have them and we could look at old videos and bask in memories, especially with the season 0 defaults. Now it aint the same really now that they are available. They need to stop bringing back old shit and keep it in the past

You probably already know but the first styles on the default skins other than Jonesy are what they Looked like back in chapter 1 season 1. Then the second styles are what they looked like after season 1 or season 2 I’m not sure but yeah

They can change the Season release date for skins because when Bao Bros came out in Chapter 2 Season 1 they had the “Released in Season X” on their description but then changed it to Chapter 2 Season 1.

I've seen aerial assault trooper all the time in season X haha. After I stopped seeing them, I saw only renegades and ghoul troopers. After season x, I stopped seeing those skins until Season 1 chapter 2. I rarely see aerials now but I usually run into renegades every now and then

I do know the first skin to ever appear in the item shop. Special Forces was the first skin to make it into the item shop, and I believe I remember the clip came from Avxry on the first day of the item shop.

Spitfire and ‘Highrise assault trooper’ are a better comparison, as they have 100% identical outfits, rather than aerial assault trooper which only similarity is the character model

Ghoul Trooper (Pink) and Skull Trooper (Purple) should just be tied for rarity because they released alongside eachother for the same prices. Without knowing any actual sales numbers, saying any is more rare than another is just too speculative. I do believe Renegade Raider is more common than Aerial Asault Trooper not just because she looks far cooler, but because she requires a higher level to purchase, on top of having a high tier pickaxe, so there's something to work for there

I think all the season 1 season shop skins should come back. This is because the game was so new and no one was really able to get those skins. Technically it was not a battle pass, so that wouldn’t violate the rule of battle pass skins never coming back. The skins are so simple too.

I feel like renegade is rarer than pink ghoul since you had to level up in season 1 to get it. You didnt have to level up to buy ghoul trooper. Maybe you just got lucky and found more renegades 🤷🏻‍♂️ Even seeing skins in game doesnt tell you how rare a skin is because even if someone has a rare skin that doesnt mean theyre always gonna run it if they like other skins they have.

It’s not a lie it is due to the season 2 battle pass technically coming out in season 1 because it released in the 1.6 something patch which is season 1. That is why these skins say season 1.

Started S1 C1 when my cousin recommended it to me. I sadly got only Blue Team Leader, didn't get a battlepass till S4. Somehow have the mako, idk when I got it. Man, regret not getting S2 and 3. Early times of Fortnite was great.

Ngl, when you talked about the recolored defaults not returning, they should just make it 1 skin tbh. So Commando will be put with Ramirez, every owner of some skin like commando/assault trooper will get 800v-bucks per skin.and the day they do this the defaults will return

There is one skin called Clash,it was released in Chapter 2 Season 1 And that skin and some other two were in shop for 5 days,and it was part of the "CsGo" event(mode in creative) and we didn't see it coming back to store for like 250+ days,and I'm hoping that they will not bring it back,because it was part of that event,and if something is part of event they only bring it back when there is something related to it(btw I bought skin I hope that it will became rare)

Actually back in season 1 fortnitemares got extended till November 28th, Skull and ghoul trooper and the Reaper pickaxe were in the featured for the entire time.
