@@ronan7744 Kind of a silly assumption that everyone never moves their pc. I happen to split time between two cities, and it's a lot easier to have a cooler at each place and just carry the laptop back and forth than it is to keep 2 separate PC's completely synced up (especially games with mods and no steam cloud sync). Also one top-end laptop is cheaper than 2 top-end desktops.

Right? Like, you place your laptop on a table, or in a secure, somewhat padded bag if traveling with it. A bath tissue is easily breakable but as long as you're not tossing it around and mangling it, it's completely fine. My $5 phone case is perfect since I'm not going around throwing and dropping that shit everywhere, where people spending $50+ on something that works if dropped from an airplane smh.

FIANLLY BOUGHT THE LLANO V12! It was a beast of cooling my Dell Latitude E5420 that has a degraded Motherboard Fan Socket so no amount of repair could fix it. When I power it on without the Llano V12, after 10 seconds the laptop gets toasty and immediately shuts down and I have to wait for 1 hour to be able to use it again. With the Llano V12, not only does it stayed bellow 100°C, it also allows me to use my laptop for hours without overheating the internal components and my relatively cool ego! Nice work!

This is one of the first times I have commented on a KZfaq video, simply because I don't like commenting. I love your work, I really do. Thank you for everything you have given your audience! Now to the real reason I commented (I still love your work, but I really could use a cooler) I have a Dell G15 5510 gaming laptop. That I got pretty recently and completely fresh installed Windows myself when I got it. No malware. I am pretty experienced when it comes to repairs and maintenance. Even with Artic MX-30 and an obsessive clean that the Mr. Clean himself would be jealous of, I still get very high CPU temps! The GPU is frosty compared to the i5-10200H. Yeah, an i5. I have to turn the fan speeds all the way up on the G15 to avoid burning a hole wherever the laptop is sitting, and I even had to weld a bolt and nuts together to create a stand for the airflow, and I have to use it while idle and while performing because of the sheer heat. Just sitting idle the GPU will go up to 36C and sit there. The CPU will fluctuate between 54C and 38C, on idle. When I turn my fans up, the CPU will sit at 36C and the GPU the same. (The discrete 3050 turns off under no or light load) When I turn the fans up it helps alot with the temps, as the default onboard controller was just not kicking in until doomsday. However just running light tasks brings the heat up considerably. Maybe this will help? If I got the Ilano Cooling pad, you can bet I would come back with graphs and pictures of before and after. I would be happy to work with Techsperts and do the bulk of creating a review video. I can edit and create videos. ANYTHING!

This is the perfect solution to the laptop thermal problems. I am studying mechanical engineering and my 2018 dell g7 is definitely twards the end of it's ropes thermaly that i started planning on 3d printing this exact solution an pairing it with a comically overpowered fan. "Turbo charging" it so to say. A lot of these laptops have more to give but they simply can't dump the heat fast enough due to their form factor. This is a really good design that solves that problem and im glad to see a company behave this way with their marketing standing behind their products.

@@davitdavid7165 rn I have it sitting on the power cable and my headphone's dongle with a fan running across it which drops the temps by almost 2 degrees under my normal load I'm really hyped to build the radiator to set on the keyboard because of how much heat it is currently dumping out the top. I think I can probably drop it a few more degrees simply by giving it more cooling area and thermal mass. It's quite the entertaining project.

If the computer is from 2018, it's almost certainly overdue for a repaste; while a comically-sized fan will help some, it's only gonna go so far if the thermal energy isn't getting transferred from the die to the heatsink.

A radical redesign of the "laptop" form factor is what the industry needs. Sure, bulking the physical size (internally and externally) HELPS, but not by enough. Desktops stay so much more reliable because they have the interchangeability of parts and better solutions for thermals, power, and I/O. The ROG Mothership is a great example of how portable PCs capable of mobile gaming can have a great and very functional design simultaneously.

@@Sharpless2 Well mate, I brought my nearly 3 grand desktop PC with me over the border and nearly got it confiscated even with all the paperwork just because it looked ''more expensive'' and ''probably'' stolen, even tho it's not. As for the laptop, they never bothered me with it at the border because it was lowkey and normal, plus I didn't have to pay the driver for more luggage and was able to carry more clothes. I travel abroad every 6 months for work. It also sucks when you have to borrow a bloody TV just to play at 60Hz instead of 155Hz when I'm not traveling and am back home. I'll probably buy some cheap gaming laptop for this year's trip, and buy me a proper gaming laptop when I get there.

I wanted to see just how far it could go, so I OC'd my laptop as far as it could go, and played a game on max graphics settings. With the Ilano at max speed, the laptop was blowing cool air out the sides, instead of the flesh-cooking steam it normally does. Well worth the money! The only problem I have is on max speed the Ilano is pretty loud, but as long as I'm not pushing my laptop to the absolute limit, the Ilano never really needs to be that fast

Gaming laptops have always had issues with heat, having a cooler is honestly a must these days and sadly most are cheap crap that doesn't do much, some may even damage your machine thanks to the fans blowing the wrong way (I've seen it, dont ask htf they sold it that way) this at least seems to have some actual thought into its design, the added foam seel seems like an interesting addition, and those extra adjustments on the feet look good for the taller user like myself lol, a big issue I have with laptops other than the lack of upgrading options, is the beck pain I get from them, so even a couple of extra inches is a bonus for me. Thanks for the review, I like channels who seem to do honest opinions, not just gimmicky bs.

I am impressed how, even when a company sponsors this video, I can hear a honest review of this product. It's awsome when you do see how good the product really is, thank you for this review!

Finally some company has addressed the problem with old school laptop coolers which pointlessly blast air on the bottom cover, and it leaks sideways, I can already see that this concept of foam sealing it around will be a gamechanger

After this video, I bought the V12 version for my Gigabyte X17 XES and... (we're building suspense here) Man, it works. Of course, if you buy a gaming laptop with an i9 processor on board, you can also use it as a hair dryer (Lupe could use it for his debatably beautiful blonde hair), but with this nice pece of engineering the temperatures are really lower. Sadly there is no distribution in Poland, and switching off RGB is a bit anoying as you have to do it every time you switch on the cooling pad, but in the end in my opinion this is first device of that kind that realy works.

this is probably one of the better laptop coolers i’ve seen. it’s rare that i see a product that actually fulfills a need *and* has a design that works in its favor more than its counterparts

As someone who bought the IETS GT600, I can vouch for these types of coolers. Although if you are buying the FlyDigi BS1, please do be aware that the vents are oddly designed and can be (or will be) the opposite of actually cooling anything properly. The Llano in general is cheaper, by around BND$40, compared to BND$120 for my IETS. Although that BND$80 in itself is a worth in its own price for any gamer, tuner, or just the average user you might know whose laptop is as hot as your local habachi grill or that they're made to replace the Sun... or their room is a sauna because of it. I'm glad to see more coolers like this, truly the best laptop coolers ever made. 👍 (Why I bought the GT600? It had 14inch support foam as Llano had not released the V10 at the time, and I wanted one cooler to be universal.) Also to add, the plastic is good plastic, not like those that you get on like a $5-$15 laptop cooler. Definitely as strong as your mom's Tupperware.

Really glad you made this video. We have two gaming HP laptops (one just purchased a week ago), and I’ve been concerned about the heat they generate. My Envy gets super hot above the top row of keys, under the screen. At this point, we have several thousand dollars invested, so this is a huge concern during extensive gaming sessions together. Thanks again for a great review!!👍🏻

It's a coincidence how after I realised my laptop was getting overheated I found this product online, but sadly I was too broke and decided to use a plastic bag with ice instead. It worked well for a couple of days until today when water leaked through and killed my HDD 😭 If it won't work after drying in 2 days my mom will buy an SSD to replace it and some thermal paste. I looked through your channel to educate myself a bit more and found this video, I thought "Ohhhh that's a coincidence, I discovered this a few days ago" but then got reminded of the price. So when I saw you're doing a giveaway I thought, why not give it a shot and comment (I'm usually a silent viewer, I mostly comment on shorts). I really like and appreciate your video's, they're one of the reasons I'm considering my career path to be in this direction in the future, they're also funny lol

they do seem useful, as many older laptops do also suffer form overheating as its having to work harder to keep up to the everchanging demands on modern applications and software.
