The intro to seasons 6-8 holds a special place in my heart because I started watching GMM around that time but the newest one is one of the best intros they had imo.

The 2nd one ignited a spark of nostalgia in me I didn’t know I could feel

GMM Intro Seasons 2-5 is so nostalgic man makes me realize how fast time really flies by

season 6-8 is top tier it reminds me of primary school summer holidays at my nannys house

this newer one is much better. it encompasses the past intros and starts the 2022 season off calmly and retrospectively. if anything, this year should be spent on reflection and growth 100%

I like the season 9-11. Just that eletric guitar rift... so good! I also like the season 12-14 for the animation and sound effects. So smooth!

2nd intro was my first introduction to gmm. It’s so nostalgic and I remember being hooked on their videos. Glad to know that they’re still doing well today

0:53 I like how in this Intro it really references the old first ever intro, you can see the toast spelling out GMM along with the eggs, bacon and coffee, I really think it was a good Easter egg for their intro and really makes me feel happy with nostalgia

0:29 Season 12-14 is my winner. The animation style, timing and sound effects are well thought out and executed frame by frame. I like the clean presentation too... the kind of therapeutic, relaxing breakfast kinda vibe which fits the vibe GMM channel (or at least, that's the GMM vibe until you see Link holding onto sharp things) Season 21 is great for similar reasons too.

I Absolutely adore S2 - S5 intro, season 15 - 20 really don't vibe with me, the new 21 intro is light-years better!

Season 15 -17 is my favourite and then 18-20. Season 15-17 intro just has such a positive vibe. Makes me feel like everything’s gonna be ok lol

From season 1-8 are my favorite, almost brings a year to my eye hearing them again. Takes me back to laying in bed with my pregnant wife watching GMM on our ipad because that's all we had. Now I'm nearing my 30's with two kids and life is crazy. I sure do miss those calm days.

Seasons 2-5 is my original intro, can't beat it! 6-8 were towards the end of when I watched the show regularly. I caught COVID pretty badly and thought I'd go back to the show, 15-17 were the majority of them. I now watch the show in blocks every so often.

season 2-5 is the most nostalgic one tbh, we all watched at least one video they made during that time

I love the minimalist claymation look of Seasons 12-14. I want to make one like that someday.

15-17 is by far my favorite one. The funky bassline and drumset with the syncopated guitar rhythm tickles my music theory brain in such a nice way.

every good mythical morning intro ranked **season 9-11:** my favorite gmm intro. i have a lot of nostalgia because this was the first time i had actually seen the intro change in real time, as i had started watching around mid season 8 or 7. it strikes the perfect balance between being ambitious and not being overly complicated, and like the 6-8 intro, it captures that morning feel perfectly. the music was also remixed in a way that i really enjoy, striking the right balance just like the animation. 10/10 honestly (also this intro debuted with links now iconic new hair) **season 6-8:** if i were to average it out id think that this intro would be ranked the highest among fans and probably for good reason. the animation is more ambitious, this is the first time they use the now iconic intro jingle, it really establishes the feel of "morning." this is one of the best, strong 8 to a light 9/10 **season 21:** i kinda fuck wit this new intro? it really takes the subdued mood they were going for with 15-17 and kinda honed in on it. the bacon and eggs are a surprisingly nice comeback to season 1, and although the ufo is a little over the top i like this intro a lot. decent to strong 7/10 **season 15-17:** kinda weird but in a good way. it feels like they took what worked with the season 12-14 intro (very ambitious animation and logo) and smoothed out what didnt (the music mainly and the general excessiveness) to me, this kinda signals a new era for gmm: a slightly more mature and lowkey era thats a welcome change tbh. decent 7/10 **season 18-20:** i didnt even realize this intro was different from 15-17 at first ngl. its pretty much the same albeit slightly worse, im not crazy about the music and the animation is like also slightly worse? feels more cluttered generally. either way its still pretty good ill give it a strong 6/10 to a light 7/10 **season 12-14:** ehhhhhhgh. this intro debuted with new 4-part episode format which was probably one of the biggest mistakes gmm has ever made. the new animation style is cool and i give it props for showing off the new logo, but it really just feels so "in your face." im not a big fan overall but because of the new logo and animation ill give it a very light 6/10 **season 2-5:** mad respect to this intro as it planted many gmm staples like the logo and the chicken beast thing. the animation is also nice, albeit boring. i think thats how id describe this entire intro actually, nice but boring. it features generic stock music and its also before my time, but less so. strong 5/10 **season 1:** this one is before my time and i dont remember it like at all. it stands out as the black sheep of the gmm intros as it doesnt feature any identifiers of the rhett and link we know today other than the head. id like to give it a higher spot but it has hardly any bearing on the future gmm intros wed come to know and love. 4/10

0:29 The theme for seasons 12-14 is/was so underrated. It changed up the melody and had dope animation with a nice static camera. It didn’t get the respect it deserved. Still the best one to this day 🤷🏻‍♂️

In my opinion, the season 6-8 intro is the best. It’s the one that introduced the iconic theme song, had fantastic artistic design, and I think more than any of the others, it encapsulates the actual greeting of “Good Mythical Morning!” The night transitioning to morning, the theme song (which has more of a “morning” vibe than the remixes of the seasons that followed, if that makes any sense), the cockatrice with the original, non-simplified fire logo… oh yeah, it hits the spot. Just my opinion

My goodness, me and my parents started watching this at season 2, I'm pretty sure my parents watch season 1 but I remember the season 2-5 intro clear as day.
