I remember the moment when I was the backup goalie for my team and it was the finals of the inter school football tournament. Our first team goalie was injured in extra times second half and I was subbed in for him. It was time for the penalty shootout and the pressure was full on me as my coach and my teammates were praying. I saved 3 penalties of the opponent team and won the final. It was a good day for me.

This exact situation hasn’t happened to me, but something quite like it. Back in U12, we made it to the Sectional Finals for the first time, and we were up 3-0 at halftime. Then, both our striker and best midfielder were injured in a corner kick collision. The other team got 2 goals on us really quickly, as we only had 10 minutes left when the injury happened. Because the injuries took a while to deal with, we had 5 minutes of added time, and with 30 seconds left of the added time, our team gave away a PK because of a blatant handball. They line up to take it, and then they shoot. I faked one way, then dove the other way. I got my hand on the ball, it hit the post, teammate kicked it out, game ended, we won. One of my best matches.

Look at this story I am a centre back, in a semifinal match we were ahead by 1-0, but in the 73rd minute our keeper was sent off with no substitute keeper, I had to do the job, but in the 81st minute, the other centre back of was sent off with a penalty, we had no centre back. As soon as I saved the penalty the whole team triumphed, but in the 94th minute, another penalty was given, I saved it then saved the rebound, as soon as the ball got out, the referee called for the end of the match, and I got man of the match, but still it’s my greatest memory in my whole life 😎😎
