You should just tell the teacher, or not put their names on it. If they confront youjust say, "You did none of the work, while I stayed up at 2 am to do it last night. Im not gonna let you get a full mark even though you didn't do anything." The teacher will get it, they can tell who actually cares vs. who doesn't.

And I’m stuck with my friend, who today, was worrying about the background of the text that was blue since I copied and pasted it from the website. @@klutchboi3266 the thing is that in group assignments if you're the "most inteligent" person: 1-They will just let you do the work alone and demand you to put their names in it 2-They will do like 6% of the work and use that as an excuse so it's "fair" for you to put their name in it, even if they barely did anything And you accept everything because you don't want anyone to hate you, And I think this one thing is even more rare: I had TWO works with one of my best friends, and in one she did 2 slides only and let me do the rest all alone (I had to modificate it a lot because our teacher wanted our works to be really good) and she only did those slides and nothing else because "she ie not very good with writing that" and bish I accepted that idk why In the other one she literally let me do the work ALL ALONE and then when it was for us to put the things in the carton(sorry my english is not very good xD) she helped me with it WITH THE EASIEST PART And I accepted all of it, to be sincere I'm glad I'm not in her class this year :/ And this is why I hate group assignments: a rant

When you’re doing two group projects at once (one in Math, the other in Social Studies), both of which have five people including yourself in it and you do half of the Math project and the entire Social Studies project by yourselves save for the audio.

@@NatsuDragneel-vc2nm depends on where you live. I live in Germany and 8th doesn't really count, but you learn the fundamental things you need to know how to do in upper classes. If you fail 8th, you can't complete 9th or higher. Also 8th is the first class with a complete other system (you depend way more on yourself than on your teachers). That's why we say that 8th grade I (beside graduation year) the hardest.

@@nadinek8272 Uh, you’re from EU so your guys’ education system is a bit different. In the USA, 8th isn’t much different than elementary. (The only thing that’s similar to HS and different from elementary) is the bells(period, classes). Before 6-8th, we would have 1 teacher for all subject (different). And in HS we have multiple teachers for different subjects (similar). Besides that, in here, it doesn’t really matter.

Exactly, there's a girl in my class who's really nosy when it comes to school drama and is always on her phone, I'm surprised she hasn't been caught. She's basically the unlucky kid, and whoever gets with her is also unlucky. She doesn't do anything but build fake trust with the teacher, it hurts like physical pain at this point. ;-;

Stop being friends with them.

Maybe u can maintain your friendship outside of school, but work with different people in school. That way you can still socialize with them, but not have to stress over the fact that they aren’t productive in a group assignment or anything
