​@@briancruz7982Ronaldo nazario, Suarez, haaland, Lewandowski and benzema. These are the only pure number nines I have seen playing. I only saw nazario highlights bcz during the 2002 worldcup I wasn’t born yet. If you talk about pure number 9 then, these are the only people who comes to mind for me at least. It’s very tough to be a number 9. Despite big history of football, number 9's usually has less balland'or than the wingers and AM while having the highest chance to win. I think halaand is the unique one among all those number 9's bcz he has no dribbling ability, bad first touch. Great physical strength, positioning and finishing is what carries him to the pure number 9's level. Nazario and Suarez in their prime were beast but they dribbled a lot bcz their positioning wasn’t as good as haaland, suarez competed with messi ronaldo and neymar and won golden boot twice while nazario won balland'or, lewa also won one but obviously robbed for so called corona problem. Benzema already won one last season.

​@@thescythe4507i agree with what you said but there are a fair amount of 9's other than those that you mentioned. shevchenko, zlatan, batistuta, van basten, gerd muller and the list goes on. i just wanted to give more examples. it really is tough to be a good number 9.

Yeah people don't Understand their importance, they get undermined by wingers a lot. For example benzema under ronaldo, suarez under messi, so forth and so on. I hope haaland win baaland'or this time bcz he won a treble and his goal record as a pure number 9 was insanely good. I hope many more pure number 9's start stepping up their game or else one day we may see them fade out.
