Well to be fair, Kafka’s trailer was actually better then a lot of the trailers not because she’s the “mommy” but rather due to animation and music and how well it fits her style

Kafka is basically the assassin, Blade is the cold blooded mercenary, and Silver Wolf is the hacker. Pretty important roles to have for antagonist roles. Also Jingliu is so good!

Fun Fact: Kafkas homeworld suffered a stellaron disaster and her whole planet suddenly couldn’t feel fear. It’s one of the reasons Kafka joined the Stellaron Hunters since Elio said he could make her feel fear.

"She's a theater kid" is actually so accurate for Kafka cause it is said that she does sprinkle in theatrics for their heists and other crimes they commit. We see a glimpse of this in Myriad Celestia Trailer - The Jepella Rebellion. One of the Stellaron Hunters even exasperatingly tell her to stop playing with her food.

It's a bit more than a "sprinkle". She literally mind controlled those guys and made them interrogate her. So she basically kidnapped some people to be dolls for her self-interrogation scene.

One of the most important imagery for Kafka is that she's a "black widow spider". Incredibly deadly female, clad in red and black. Uses "webs" to ensnare people. And the sunglasses on her forehead evokes the image of a spider's multiple eyes.

@@RogersBase if you like seele and himeko you realy should watch honkai impact stuff. because both of them are honkai impact chars (alternate versions of of them, but much closer to the og than for example raiden shogun and raiden mei). himeko is even the reason why welt (honkai impact welt) came to starrail

LMAO. Chat telling Roger that Imbibitor Lunae is spoilery as if no one literally knew about his identity before his trailer was released 😭 The animated short was Jingliu's first "appearance". She was shown to be "killed", but everyone knew she was coming in the game so we don't really know what happened after that.

Technically Four Seasons is not a piece but a collection of concertos (and if we want to go really specific, Kafka's demo is made of remixes of Winter's Allegro non molto movement and the ending part of Summer's Presto movement)

Many of these characters have their origin in Honkai Impact 3, like Himeko. One is even from that Universe, Welt Yang. So you might not like to play the game, but if you are interested in the characters and their origin, take a look.

As a HxH enthusiast, and a HSR gamer, I can see the similarities to The Phantom Troupe. Silver wolf is basically Shalnark, Blade is Feitan (both rely on low HP for more damage), and Kafka is a mix of Pakunoda, Machi, and Nobunaga. And perhaps Eliot might be Chrollo.

From a perspective of someone who plays both Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, the game is amazing. For me, a lore nerd, it has a very nice story so far (keep in mind that it's fairly new - not even 6 months have passed since it was released). As someone who's never tried any turn-based combat games, the gameplay mechanics are quite easy to figure out and follow. The usual stuff, like upgrading the characters, their weapons, etc etc, also isn't really difficult. The music is very pretty, and I even downloaded some themes from the game (like the boss battle music) on my phone so I can listen to them whenever I want. The game is also quite generous to the players! As an almost-launch Genshin player, I was pleased with this matter. It also has a bit of memes in there (which I won't spoil!), and they make the overall atmosphere of the game much better :)

FYI in the "A Flash" Trailer. During the scene where Jing Yuan was attacking Jingliu with "Sussanno", you can see Jingliu does a slight smile in the end. Just in case you missed it.

One thing ull like is when train ends u can use ur fuel (resin) and it even let's *6 auto it so it's so handy when ur strapped for time but want to rank up ur trailblazer rank. What Silver Wolf play in the trailer was Honkai Impact 3 (something about Honkai Impact 3 was dodging is a must even though there is a character that can generate shield for any character on the field) Blade, a character that sacrifice his own HP to increase power

Ppl say Jingliu is the creepiest character bc those "NPC" are actually Jing Yuan, Blade, and Dan heng or Imbibitor lunae. If you look at the people and weapons she freezes carefully you can tell. I find her creepy but in a good way. Not sure if that makes sense xd.

Kafka is a spider woman because she ensnares people and then traps them in her web(plans). Also the Aeon she and the rest of the Stellaron hunters are serving is pretty cool too check out the full lore.

Flow really depends on your team build. I have Clara, Luocha, Himeko and Fu Xuan. Also, with Seele and Bronya it's ALWAYS your turn. With Jing Yuan, he's voiced by Cy-Yu and Jungliu she's voiced by Monarch.

When you said that your a hit or miss when it comes to action games, then it's fine to ignore hi3 for now but it will have a revamp in February if i remember correctly so the gameplay and ui would be a lot better, and the main aspect/core of the game is it's story so if you're interested in knowing little of the story without playing it for now would be to react to honkai impact 3rd animations on their main channel. You might know some characters already in hi3 since you saw some of them or at least their counterpart (exp as you call them if im correct?). as a Honkai IMPACT 3rd player, I dont mind you not playing the game since it really is sometimes overwhelming but all of us honkai impact 3rd player want is a reaction to our Animated cutscenes, they are worth it. if you are planning to, dont use the playlist in the official channel, there are better ones
