OMG! You are the first to mention Trakehner! I grew up with a hunter Trakehner and a chestnut Trakehner. Both purebred, chestnut was off the harness track track.The coats were like high gloss shine. Both sweet and joyful. My angel horses which fly high over me on watch. After almost 30 years I still miss them.

So fun story: I rode Fury when he was a lesson horse in ~2015. He was the BEST and I absolutely adored him. What happened with him after he had his eye removed? I don’t ride at that barn anymore.

WOW! That’s amazing. He is fantastic. I donated him to their riding program. He’s still there but one of the lesson students bought him and shows him in hunters!!!! 🖤

@@freespiritequestrian Oh that’s great to hear! He was honestly my favorite lesson horse ever. He was always honest and took great care of me. Made me feel like I was riding a fancy Friesian sometimes too! I’m so glad he’s still doing what he loves. :)

@@Verrazi I rode a Tennessee Walker mare once that my nephew used to own. She was shod normally and had never been sored. He didn't have papers, so we suspected she was a half breed, but you wouldn't know it by her gaits. What a joy that was to experience her gaits. When she went into a canter that rocking chair gait was unlike anything I'd ever experienced. I just giggled out loud like a school girl. They could hear me all the way down the road! He sold her not long after that, but that was the most incredible experience since I had never been on a gaited horse before or since then.

@@Verrazi They have gaits that are not produced by soring and happen naturally. The gaits produced by soring are very pronounced, extremely over exaggerated versions of their natural gait.

Wow there all so beautiful, I own 12 horses and just got back into riding a few months ago because I took a break because of a traumatic incident causing me to be dragged down a bypass by one of my horses but we’re making quick progress. Keep loving your horses.

I really love that you have both gaited and nongaited horses and have such a big variety of breeds. The Canadian horse is so cool since I know they are endangered. I have a TWH and a FHH so I always watch out for Jafar and your gaited horses. And thank you for showing that the gaited horses can jump too.
