Remember back at the first movie all of us saw one of our childhood heroes come to life on the big screen played perfectly by RDJ and all of us left at the start of the credits. Then came The Incredible Hulk and just as everybody got up to leave suddenly came an extra scene and suddenly in walked Tony to talk to General Ross about the Avenger Initiative and we all collectively lost our fucking minds at the possibility. Now years later here we are enjoying as both of the superhero comic giants Marvel and DC create and expand their universes while we weep in joy

It is actually really weird to think we went from cool Iron Man films to a whole shared cinematic universe of Marvel superheroes

Based off of the initial trailers and posters for Iron Man 3, I was hoping that Tony would get captured by the Mandarin, be tortured and imprisoned for information, and similar to Iron Man 1, would have to go old-school again and improvise a new (and better) suit from a 'box of scraps' and find a way to escape...but I guess my vision didn't pan out
