As a Porto fan, we in the first half of the season were bad to our standards in the league, but in the second half of the season only lost against Gil Vicente, we came from 10 points behind Benfica to fighting until the last day, in the champions league we underachieved, and we recovered by winning the Portuguese cup. That said if we had a better first half of the season we would win every trophy in Portugal for sure

Listen man, as a Dortmund fan, I saw this coming, I saw times where the guys were leading Bayern by 15 clear points with 5 games remaining and somehow allowed Bayern to overthrow them to win the title. So yea, I saw this bottle job coming because I was sweating when I saw they had one match, only one match to win to clinch the title, but there you go

In the Eredivisie a team that would be well within the top 10 teams financially got relegated dead last, with 18 points total and an entire 4 wins this season. (Also a side fact, 3/4 clubs in the Eredivisie that come from the North of the country got relegated this season) there are only 2 straight relegations / 1 play offs relegation (which Fc Emmen lost and thus got relegated)

The funny thing about this season's Portuguese league is that Benfica almost had the biggest bottle job in Europe. Cause remember that in March they were 10 points above second place Porto. The title was over at that point,and it looked like Benfica would win the title with 3 or 4 games to go, but no, they almost bottled it and had to wait until the final day to win it. If they had lost it, it would have been a bigger bottle job than Dortmund.

Shakhtar literally had to reassemble their team from the scratch, nobody thought they had a chance. Instead, Dynamo ended up finishing fourth after a horrible season

Arsenal cannot be labelled bottlejobs. As a Liverpool fan I have to say we were the biggest bottlejobs of the league. Beating Manchester United 7-0 and then losing 1-0 to Bournemouth is what bottlejobs do.

As an AEK fan I was waiting for Panathinaikos to be mentioned. Our team played excellent attacking football, only for Panathinaikos to scrape 1-0 boring wins every match. Luckily we won it in the final match, also completing the double after winning the cup final playing with 10 men from the 6th minute.

I think what went wrong with our season is our players had to play too many games this season. Carlo had the same tactic running for about 70% of the season. When we did end up changing it worked for a bit like 4-5 matches and then it stopped again. What Inter did against City the other day in the UCL was what we should’ve done in the Semis at Etihad. Instead we were scared to even pass it around. We lost our footing before the WC and it ultimately lead to everything else. Hopefully we have a better 23/24

I actually reckon Dundee United would probably have been a better shout for the Scottish Premiership bottlejob than Hearts, last season they finished 4th in the league and started this season by beating AZ Alkmaar in the first leg of the conference league qualifiers, only to then lose 7-0 in the second leg, follow that up with a 9-0 defeat to Celtic at home and ended up relegated, a year after they finished in 4th.

I'd disagree with Udinese, it is true they were in European positions earlier in the season but that was never their goal - would have been nice, sure, but the team was really not ready to take that step. But it has been a very positive season, they showed they have some good players (Samardzic, Lovric, Bijol) that they will bank upon (Udinese's style) and I think Sottil is class. A more fitting Serie A's bottlers team would be Spezia, they had some massive results against bigger teams (Milan and Inter) and had a comfortable lead from 18th Verona, but they ended up same points as them and throwing in the bin all the points, played the playout and got embarrassed. Roma *cough* and Atalanta could be better contenders for bottlers as well

FCSB and Farul Constanța in Romania, FCSB spend a lot of money (for romanian standards) for them to finish 2nd in the league of the 8th* time, meanwhile Farul is heavily relying on its academy players and smart, cheap signings
