Quake got a huge buff this week, so I had to revisit my deck that compiles all of the different cards that manipulate locations, and boy did I have some fun.
Decklist: snap.untapped....
Power Estimate: This deck was designed as a meme, and it lives up to that expectation. It might not cost you a ton of cubes to goof around with it, but it's definitely not suitable for climbing.

Nice , I've been a little tilted with the matchmaking last couple days and this is just the kind of deck I needed . 😂 Just silly fun , was able to pull of A Galactus win in a somewhat roundabout fashion . Iron Lad copied Galactus on 4 and Abs Man copied Lad copying Galactus and on six 12ish power was enough when I dump power stone Wanda and a sentinel graciously donated by the opponent .😜

I like quake but her power is proportional to the locations. If you have those big negative effect locations, jotunheim, deaths domain, etc. She can be really impactful. But if the locations are one time activation or just mundane she is just a 2/3.

I like the idea you posited in this video about a deck designed around setting up and turning off Limbo. I don't love the fact that turning off Limbo on 6 is even a thing, since only one player knows the game is ending now and the other doesn't, which isn't exactly balanced in a game like this. If a deck that's aimed at just abusing that and nothing else ended up being too good, SD would finally address that.

At 17:55 since the opponent had priority I think you should have played the Hobgoblin. Either he changes the location and you send him a -8, or he dies and it doesn't hurt you. Also Fantastic video. That first game was nuts.

It was a little weird you didn't actually use the Uatu for its information. Uatu would have told you that bar with no name was happening among other things. It was weird to have included him but not actually used his information.

As someone who has played Quake since the beginning, this feels almost like a sidegrade, not an upgrade. Her power was her surprise factor but sometimes, you don't want her to flip a location; sometimes, you want her to flip the location she lands in. This feels less flexible in some ways

It may be time to retire this layout, Regis. It was probably very useful before the PC client came out, but now I just want to track the opponents deck with Untapped, I can see the UI in the corner and every time I'm just like 'why aren't we showing that?' And while your face is very beautiful and your hair doubly so but maybe they don't need to take up a fifth of the screen? Anyway, this is constructive criticism, not angry criticism, I'll watch either way, but think about it, king.

that's BS that MojoWorld "turned back on" at the end of the game when the location was nullified. It's crap like this that drives me nuts with this game. So my inconsistencies and illogical "logic".
