I was severely traumatized years ago as a teenage, got diagnosed with ADHD. Spent my whole life fighting ADHD. Also suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 6 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

Ive done shrooms last month in my house. It taught me how severely traumatized I was from alcohol. I healed from many mental traumas from my past and was able to forgive, let go. Shrooms to me is a remedy not a vice. I even felt more refreshed the morning after. So no hangovers. No depression mood for days. No anxiety.I now have a more calm mind

hypersexuality isn't just dirty minded thoughts or watching too much p*rn. it is so much severe than that. you cannot control it. you aren't just "born" it. you need medication to treat it. it happens as a result of trauma like molestation. please do your research. plus, humans only start to remember things at the age of four so... I know you're kid, so I think you should get diagnosed regardless rather than self diagnosing and just claiming something so serious based on one EXTREMELY MILDDDD symptom. I used to do that when I was a child lol it's like when people say they have OCD because "I love being clean!" when it's so much worse than that. I hope you get the therapy and treatment you need because being a genuine hypersexual is not fun and is extremely painful, and you understand since you are one.... right?

These probably happen so rarely that cases pertaining to other places just haven't been recorded, or, if they have been, it's likely that nobody's really paying attention to them. In my opinion, is that these conditions are much more likely to be found in these places than any other. Regarding the instance of The Jerusalem Syndrome for example, I bet that similar things happen in places like Mecca, but as Mecca tends to be a more "exclusive" city than Jerusalem, and Muslims, at least in respect to these circumstances a bit more spiritual than Christians, Jews, or followers of most other religions, it's not as likely to be noticed. A conceptually similar thing might be going on with Paris . Please note however that my education on psychology or mental disorders is flat null, and this is just my own personal guess.

My name is Emmy and I have diagnosed Alice In Wonderland Syndrome, glad you clarified it’s not a mental health or psychological issue, but a neurological disorder. In my case I have extremely severe migraines, so severe in fact it essentially messes with my brain and distorts my cognitive abilities. Crazy enough there’s only been around 300 diagnosed cases in recent years, myself included. But it’s estimated AIWS is much more common, and is under diagnosed and misdiagnosed as other things like seizures.

why are people self diagnosing? that’s gross
@thebiggestmaraudersfan
@thebiggestmaraudersfan 24 күн бұрын
If you don’t self diagnose to start with, you can’t do any to help yourself. Being diagnosed takes lots of money and time and many people don’t have that. Without proper research, people shouldn’t self diagnose. If you’ve done tons of research on this (I don’t just mean looking up stuff for an hour, I mean a few hundred hours of reaserch), it’s healthy to self diagnose. It’s also helpful to reach out to people who have the thing you suspect you have. Self diagnosis is completely valid. I say this as someone who is diagnosed with inattentive ADHD.

@@thebiggestmaraudersfan I also mean for people who will see like- one of these things, for example ADHD, as I have it diagnosed by a doctor, they will see the symptoms, maybe one or two and say they have it. If you do a couple hundred hours of diagnosing, it’s still possible you may not have the disorder. it’s always even more healthy to go to a doctor first. I completely understand your point tho

i used to have alice in wonderand syndrome where i could zoom in alot so like a three by three grid, i would only be able to see one section and its not like the other pieces were blurry, i just couldnt see them. i would always take a while for my eyesight to adjust back to normal.

The Jerusalem disorder is crazy, like someone who is otherwise not religious can just go to Jerusalem and then go crazy and claim to be a prophet or something. Like at that point I think there’s a better religious reason for it than there is a scientific reason

I’m pretty sure I have jumping frenchmen purely because everything I turn around and see someone who wasn’t there before or something else to that effect, I gasp really loudly or freeze up. This also happens when somebody scares me, somebody taps me on my back or literally anything I’m not expecting. I do scream if somebody jumps out at me though haha.

I have ocd , mostly the hoarding kind, it has affected my life extremely. I feel like ocd should be talked about more because it is very misunderstood. Like it is not a funny quirky thing, it is time, space, physical energy and mental energy consuming. I had counting things, i have set extreme sleep schedules, i have taken 30k + screenshots/pictures of certain things , i finally got myself to delete 25k pictures, but they are adding up a bit again. but the thing that affected me the most was hoarding. I feel like ocd hoarding just gets skipped over in any of these kinds of videos. It is so time and space consuming, and the objects i was hoarding were almost anything random, like for example popsicle sticks ect. I have finally managed to not hoard anymore but it sometimes still affects me. It took over 2 years to just find a coping mechanism to stop the hoarding and the pictures hoarding.

So basically ocd is horrible for me it is like it just basically bullies you for not doing something that wouldn’t affect anything anyways but you feel guilty for not doing it anyways. I am ashamed of my ocd , i don’t like having to fight with myself, but atleast it is getting better so i am proud of myself kinda
@DISLIKED_
@DISLIKED_ 18 сағат бұрын
Also i would prefer people not complimenting me or anything. This comment is to spread awareness about the lesser known variations of ocd that aren’t mentioned enough.

Some of these, like the Jerusalem and Paris ones not only feel fake but like PSTD caused by the experience. Who knew religous beliefs and disappointments could give you a full on mental health disorder. Like comparing them to the more common ones just feels odd to me
